Theres a lot of people trying to make money with coins. People who first study and view many many coins in hand. I collect and that requires study and viewing many many coins in hand ( or video and books). Knowledge is power. I can afford silver and tokens, or other collectibles under $100. But that doesn’t mean I don’t study gold and classic issues.
Think about how much you can afford and build your collection accordinglyIf you’re interested in selling, it’s going to take time to learn. The most important thing I’ve learned is “collect what you like “ Enjoy James 😸
You mean to tell me you think what I posted here is wrong. Listen real close.
Why don’t you see what kind of responses you get from you-tube folks and make sure you get a bunch of them to respond. Then slam them because you think you know better.
As mentioned your Ike’s are worth a dollar and no more.
I’d suggest you start with parking lot finds and stick with you-tube🙀- l.cutler, Alex in PA., Mohawk and 1 other

Awesome. I have been lucky to receive and give. Giving is way nicer than receiving but don’t get me wrong, I’m fond of receiving.
If I may, once again folks, thanks to all who make up this little home group.

The flyin’ eagle is cool. The real find is the time you spent with your grandson and “Young Numismatist”.
Awesome! Today my grandson (8) was going through our Roosie dime album and his young eyes caught where I’d put a D MM in a P MM slot.
Thanks for your helping advancing the hobby and sponsor of your own YN 👍🏼- tj96, R__Rash and Hoghead515

The consensus is pretty tight on what qualifies. It’s a drooling eagle for sure but it’s not like the other. I’m going to wait for someone else to comment. For now I’ll go with maybe. It’s pretty cool 👍🏼

Buy one of these for under $10 on eBay. I need to be able to see it in hand and compare. I love mine. Plus they are BU examples 😉

Welcome. The reason we are all going ouch is, for most of us have one similar. It’s a “misery loves company “ kind of greeting. There’s a lot of knowledge here and it’s free. We also have some interesting senses of humor 😂. Stick around, read some of the other threads and you’ll get an idea of which members know #%* from shine-ola. And learn something new just about every day. 😉

Bronze? No brass no, I give up. I’m beginning to collect medals and such and I hear there comes a day when I will be able to tell which is what . Today is not that day 😂. It’s a very nice medal👍🏼
House find or the other end of the black hole 😉 Did you find any missing socks 😂- Mr.Bill347, GBrad and R__Rash

that’s a picture perfect example of the “spitting eagle “. Congratulations 🎊🎉🍾
I spent some time involved with what is and what isn’t a “spitting eagle “ Yours is an amazing example. 👍🏼

RWB. I am coming to the same conclusion. It’s amazing but it sure seems like an attempt at normalization. I wonder if they were “encouraged “ by the occupying forces? 43 was a scary time and the world came close to being a very different place. Most today do not realize just how bad things were.
