  1. I am sorry to see you got swindled. This hobby is a tough one to start out by getting a bad coin. You have a good attitude, I hope this coin does not scare you away. Put it in a flip with a label. (Bad Trade)
  2. I just took a look at some of those amazing coins, Wow
  3. I don't think anyone is looking for counterfeit coins. It would be cool to find one in circulation is what everyone is referring to. And this OP said he found 4 ?
  4. I posted two new coins with die scratches in the Newbie section. I saved a full roll of each.
  5. The coin is in very good shape, there may be some wear under the toning, but it is what it is.
  6. Just joking bud, I do the same thing, but I only keep one roll of each error coin. Like one of each of those die scratch nickels. I guess you could try e-Bay. you may get some lookers.
  7. This is my NGC boo-boo this is not a D it is a P
  8. It looks like it was re-slabbed. the old one id still listed. Verify NGC Certification | NGC (ngccoin.com)
  9. Four sounds out there a bit far And no photos of the coins?
  10. In that coin 66 is a top pop, there are no 67 at NGC
  11. Even though it is a low mintage it is not a rare coin, just hard to find . LoL Now if my 2009 P graded at 67 then it would be a rare coin .
  12. Welcome, the short answer would be. Your coin looks like it has been outside in the ground for a long time.
  13. Good luck , I roll hunt on an average 200 to 400 nickels a week. I have only found three in the last two years, and they were not in very good condition.
  14. I do not think,( although a nice looking coin with a rim to rim crack ). It will increase the value a lot. I have many nickels with cracks. I think it would depend on more factors than just the crack.
  15. Yes they are hard to find in circulation. I am sure you can find some at some coin shops. But not many That is what will be the test of their value. I found this one in a shop outside of Charlotte NC.
  16. ANACS Has me wondering sometimes ? I see some things labeled that are just not right. Most recent would be a speared bison that the spear is missing. Maybe it fell out.
