Hello. I have 2 coins that I thought were going to be able to be placed in the 2017 ANA SILVER EAGLE slots but when entered they come up as standard coins without the ANA designation. I understand that there are coins with ANA labels that don’t get classified as ANA coins, but these actually say DENVER ANA in the bold print on top. Are these ANA coins or no? Thanks.

I would rather have something in a lower grade as opposed to something with details.

It’s still cool. And hey, there’s nothing wrong with getting it on the cheap with no competition.

I also got a good deal on a 1906 s. It hasn't came in yet. Its only graded F12 though by ANACS. I was the only bidder on it. Figured it may be the only chance I get to ever buy one so I went ahead and placed a bid on it. Im afraid to buy one raw. Im not good at spotting counterfeits and cleaned coins yet.
That would be my luck too. Buy some raw coin and turn out to be a fake or some whizzed p.o.s. I’ll just pay the premium for already graded stuff so I know exactly what I’m getting.

Hello. I think the term you are looking for is FBL or FULL BELL LINES. Full bands is used for dimes. Im not a half dollar guy but if it is anything like the full step nickel designation, I would assume the lines would have to go all the way across with no interruptions. Still a pretty cool piece to get in change, and the pics are really pretty good!

Good looking Lincoln! Nice acquisition for your collection.

Man I hope they are all genuine and problem free. That would be one heck of a starter kit! Hope things work out for you.

If you are talking about the bump behind Washington's head, that is a bubble caused by high heat. Not a mint error, just damage. Just noticed, this is your first post. Welcome to the forum!
Ok I kinda see it now. I thought that was the reflection from the light source above.

Hello, and welcome to the forum. Im not quite sure what you are asking about as far as an error, but I don’t really see anything out of the ordinary. Looks like a regular very circulated 73 quarter. What is it about the coin that makes you feel there is something different from a regular coin? And here is a little bit of advice before a lot of people start looking at this. You may want to rotate your pics so the coin is straight up so people can get a better look and you may also want to take a new pic on the top with out your fingers in the way. The detail of the coin isn’t too bad. Just trying to give you a head start. There is probably a hardcore quarter guy out there that will chime in if they see something. I’m not really seeing much though. You will have to be a little more specific with your question. Give it some time. There are a lot of pros out there that will tell you if this is something worth your time.

Ill say MS62. Same as the other one.

I’m glad they whittled it down to only 14 slots this year.

Regardless of the grade, it’s still not your average pocket change. Very nice piece my friend. Congrats.

Very much so. Since the hub improvement in 1987, the detail has vastly improved. Full steps are very common these days.

Hello everyone. I just received this 1951 P a few days ago and noticed something during the photo session for my registry set. I am wanting to say there is a possible die crack on the reverse. It starts at the bottom of pillar 3, moves up through the pillar, through the triangle, follows the dome, and up to the bottom of the S in PLURIBUS. It looks raised from the surface with no color change along the line. It seems to follow the profile of the device with no gaps and has a jagged appearance. At first I thought it may be a scratch but upon further inspection (10x and 30x loupe) I believe it is a die crack. If so, I would like to put this out there as reference material for anyone else looking for similar information. All feedback is welcome. Thanks for looking.

Just got this a few days ago. Took a break from the nickels to get this one. I just really liked the looks of this. Normally not a fan of the brown toning, but it just seems to work on this coin. The fingerprint almost drove me away but something just kept bringing me back to this one. Pulled the trigger. Glad I did. NGC MS-63
