  1. Don't feel bad my friend. I got the same kind of luck.
  2. Thank you my friends. Im curious now to try it. Do I give a good soak. Also if I do for how long. Or is there any use of even trying.
  3. Happy Thanksgiving my friends. Ate like a hog. Now you all know how I got my name. Its not cause of my good looks.
  4. Thats awesome my friend. Congratulations on the 70s. That be cool if they are hand signed.
  5. I think it may be a copy. I compared it to mine and its identical. I put mine under a microscope to check and its really hard to tell. But it matches all my other ones. I figured if it was hand signed there would be a little bit of difference in the size or location. I was sure hoping though.
  6. I found out that mine got a pf 69. That is kinda disappointing. But I can't really complain. I was fortunate enough to get one. Im glad I got thru on the mint site. I ordered it on my android phone at work. I bout pulled my hair out but I got one. Also got one of the silver medals as well.
  7. Thank you very much to all of you all. I really appreciate it. Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving
  8. That second picture seems awful blurry. Ill try get a better one
  9. The first picture is before and second is after
  10. First off I would like to say HAPPY THANKSGIVING my friends. Now I would like to say that I gave my little 3 cent silver an acetone bath. I let it sit in it for approximately 30 minutes. It removed all the gunk that was around the edges and uncovered more tiny green spots. They are very small and very hard to see. It also didn't take away the other green spots. So I am going to give it another bath before I try the olive oil trick. This time I was gonna soak it for a few hours. Before I do it tho, I was gonna ask, can you over do it on an acetone dunk. Is it harmful to leave it in for extended periods of time. Here is an after the dunk pic. It hard to tell much about it but here it is. Thank you so much my friends for all the helpful information.
  11. Oh yeah. Thats pretty good stuff there. We listen to a whole lot of that kind of music.
  12. So thats a good point to put on there. In bold letters. IF ITS LOOKS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE THEN IT MORE THAN LIKELY IS.
  13. The one I've seen the most since I've been here is "is this a dd. And how valuable." You Tube has got everyone looking for them and making them think they gonna get rich. Im a newbie to but I try to live in reality the best I can. An old man gave me some advice one time that has never let me down yet. If it looks or sounds to good to be true then it is.
  14. Same here. I listen to AM radio alot to. Just Rush Limbaugh and Hannity and that bout it on the AM.
  15. I may send it in then. The Kennedy half in the Philadelphia set doesn't look as good. Its got scratches on it and doesn't have the luster the one from Denver has. The one out of the Denver set is probably one of the most beautiful ones I've ever got from U.S. Mint in the clad's. Its a good strong strike also. Im no expert by no means but just by looking at it id say it would probably grade fairly high.
  16. Thats what I'm doing. Still working on the 2019 ms 66 set. I just bought those 2 2020 ms 65s cause they had a good deal on them
  17. Is it worth getting clad coins graded out of uncirculated mint sets. I got a 2019 d Kennedy half ,still in the packaging, that looks amazing. It looks like a proof. Its not got a spot on it. I got several more uncirculated sets from previous years but none have the eye appeal like this one does.
  18. I noticed that in the smaller grades also. The "San Antonio Missions" was very easy to come by at a cheaper price. The "Frank Church" was one of the more expensive ones and harder to find at a good deal. I ended up winning one in an Ebay auction at a fairly decent price.
  19. Hes learning from the best. Glad we could help.
  20. I finally got me a whole set of the 2019 w quarters in ms 65. Im working on a set of ms 66s. I got 2 of them so far. I don't make a whole lot of money so it takes time for me to get one. I live in a very rural area where there isn't no really good jobs. But anyways I got a couple of the 2020's in ms 65. It gonna take me some time but I'm eventually gonna have a few full sets. I may try to sell a kidney and get me a set of ms 67's if its not pickled to bad from all the Wild Turkey and Budweisers from my younger days 😜
  21. Im gonna have to check my goodie jar when I get home. I think I may have a couple of those. Got the seraphim and everything.
  22. A bunch of us back woods boys and girls have shooting competitions here where I live all the time. Firearms are a way of life here in my part of the country. Don't know how we'd get by without em. We live a whole lot off the land hunting and fishing. I've taught my kids as well how to safely handle them and shoot
  23. I appreciate it. Im gonna give it a try when I get off work this evening. If it doesn't look like its gonna take most of it off I'll try the olive oil trick. Thanks for the advice.
