  1. thank you brother. LOL yeah a bean patch would be nice but im hoping for just a couple golden sprouts
  2. CAC does not release cert numbers of coins already reviewed but not CAC stickered as to not blackball future sellers
  3. in my next submissions i want to get my 34S peace dollars in there. i have an AU58 that looks 63 or better to me, a 61 old green holder that looks better, a 62 that looks right, a 63 that looks right and a 64+ that is extremely solid. i am wondering if i should submit consecutively in same submission or one at a time or?? i dont know. i know that looking at the au58 next to the 62 or 63 makes me ill. would it be better to isolate?
  4. thanks coinbuf! yes being a newbie to this i wondered if field chatter would be a bean death sentence. how much do they weigh "strike" for MS64 and below coins? it is rare for me to find fully struck CC's in those grades period.
  5. i didnt get this one into this submission but is going to be in my next im putting together. what does everyone think of the 64 grade? bean?
  6. this one looks undergraded to me. a 62?? i see a 63 please give me your thoughts i predict green bean
  7. thanks alex, yes it is better in hand. i had doubles of that one already but purchased this one immediately. way nicer than most 63 scatter faces.
  8. this one looks much better in hand with a very clean cheek, so-so strike but im hoping for green.
  9. something hopeful in me thinks this may have a shot at gold??? please post predictions all no bean, green bean, gold bean
  10. even crappy looking 1921 Peace dollars are selling way over book. high grade "nice" examples are selling so high that the price guides have moved up on them substantially take a peak at NGC/PCGS price guide history
  11. It wasnt by me as this was how i bought the coin but they did an amazing job if they did. coin looks much better in hand it is a true blazer
  12. to say this is not how i would have graded these 3 coins is an understatement 64+ would be 64, 63 dmpl would be 64 or better dmpl, and 65 would be 64 just goes to show i cant grade to save my . i hope the 63 is a gold bean candidate
  13. hello again, so far only hoghead515 has gotten one coin correct as far as grade. i will post grades tomorrow....RWB, VKURTB , old hoopster, just bob throw some grades at these im curious what everyone else sees also!
  14. that is exactly where my thoughts are also. so far only one person has guessed (1) coin the correct grade. grading by pcgs newer slab on first, pcgs older green holder 2nd and NGC older on the third.
  15. hello coinbuf is there a coin in your eyes that is clearly better than the other two. there is to me and im curious what others think without saying. thanks
  16. i truly enjoy testing my grading skills and sometimes what i think isnt quite what the label says. please take a look at these two coins and take a guess. and the next one
  17. i will have to totally agree. if i were to buy a coin for its toning, i would want to be able to see it like that in hand with my eyes. sometimes these camera shots seem to make the coin look like "what it could look like" versus what it actually looks like. it seems like alot of the photos are enhanced in some way.
  18. this would be for my personal collection of cc morgans. it is graded ms62 dmpl by PCGS. i am only a collector of blast white type coins and there lies the problem for me.
