they did not put mint marks on Quarters in 64. therefore this is a Philly example I think they did not start using the P mintmark again until 80

I have found that on the Indian cent series if you find a BN unc coin it can exhibit very vibrant aqua and magentas They are absolutely beautiful when they get this way. For an exceptionally beautiful coin try a really nice PF BN they can get extremely beautiful in this condition.

looks like the OBV of a George V silver crown from the 30's after that it should have been Queen Elizabeth.

This can be prevented by getting a flea-market and tick collar for your rolls of coins. The collars are adjustable, and will last through many coin shows -- even the AKC New York show.
Maybe instead of writing books on Peace Dollars........I think i see the next Foxworthy book coming!

The on the 1944 D Lincoln cent the OMM FS - 512 is an over mint mark variety designation. If you get a small loop out and look at the center of the D you will see like there is something behind the D. This is a very desirable variety if you collect them.

PCGS will give you the price ranges for the speared Eagle 2000-P "Wounded Eagle" FS-901

I would leave it alone. it isn't significant enough to garner a premium. Unless you want to to say something to the affect. If so I have found that ANACS will tag just about anything you want them to with these types of errors.

Those are awesome finds!!! i only have gotten one "W" so far. Our banks down here don't want to handle the change these days and they say that the rolled coins are for business' That was a great hunting trip!

GEESH.. when i submit my coins; they are all perfect looking to me
funny thing I don't collect plastic, I collect coins. so i really don't care what it says on the holder until it says JT and in my safe. so i could care less what the TPGs think about it or even the CAC since i have seen some dogs with that bean on them......when it say JT then i know i have a coin.

Im with Hoghead. I pic of the whole coin would be nice. I only have about 10 Bust halves, However since you love to do the research i would suggest getting an Overton cheat sheet or book on bust varieties. the bust series has hundreds of different varieties and it is a series that some years have 5 or 6 different varieties.

Concur... It looks fake to me with they mushy details of the hair and liberty. On the reverse the Eagle looks mushy or greasy The details are not sharp even for a circulated issue. which is not typical for such a grand coin.
