What you are describing as extra letters and numbers simply can't happen during the striking o a coin. (With the rare exception of a dropped letter) .
The devices on a die are pemanently engraved in the striking die so these are the only letters, numbers that will show up on the coin.
What you have is just damage that is causing Pareidolia. (A term we use for seeing something that isn't there).

The proper term is Doubled Die.
No the 8 is not Doubled. It looks like it has been flattened slightly.

Looks like a zincoin. You can see some plating bubbling around the mint mark and other areas.
Also the fields look too rough for a copper cent

Yes, it is possible to have a clad layer missing on one side. Colour looks like it may be copper showing  and not ED.
Can’t be 100% sure from a photo but certainly worth getting checked out.

    Welcome to the Forum
Your quarter is also PMD (Post Minting Damage)
It is only an error if it happens during the striking of the coin. Anything that happens after that is considered damage

    First, Welcome to the Forum
Here is a photo of a genuine silver Krugerrand. I don't see any word "Krugerrand " below the leg.
FYI-  A Krugerrand is not a coin, it is bullion

Depends on what year you are comparing it to. The Mint has changed the composition four time since then so they would have different lustres depending on the  year it was minted

What you have is an album worthy cent that would cost way more to grade than it is worth.

Can't do much about the Lincoln's as that is the sellers opinion about the grade.

It is against eBay policy to have a numeric grade on a raw coin.
Been reported. Hopefully will be removed by end of day.

As far as your coin, it has been been severely damaged. There is no way that could happen during the striking of the coin.

Round Die Chips are not uncommon. They start off as a pin hole in the die and through continuous striking, it slowly enlarges the hole into a round shape.
