Thanks, Bobby.
Thought I would add an old [ and terrible ] image
of a coin I just put a deposit on - once I have the
coin in hand - I'll have it professionally imaged.
I've always wanted one of these Dimes:
-
The correct coin is 1902 or IHC... not an 1885 Eagle !!
So...
-
My only win at Heritage Internet auction:
-
I sold the above 1912-S to a friend at FUN -
and today, I upgraded my 1902 in 55 for this
MS 64: [ paid for by eBay Bucks !! ]
-
Just had my V Nickel raw set certified...
here's my duplicate 1912-S - PCGS Graded AU 55:
-
1898
Straight out of the Dansco album:
newer addition for the Dime collection [ 1892 - 1916 ]
- purchased already graded:
The 1898 Date Set Dimes:

-
Those are the first First Ladies Bronze Medalions I have seen.
Nice grouping Bobby. I assume you have the previous issues as well.
They'll make a nice collection when completed.

Aside from Barbers newps ... here are a couple of Lincolns for my
Birthyear set....

Love at first sight....

Ok - no takers huh ?
Here's a newp for my Grandmother's Mint Birthyear set:
-
The 1917-S REV Half is in a PCGS AU 58 holder.
I can see where you might have guessed AU 55,
as there is rub; most noticably on the Eagle's lead leg.
The image doesn't show the luster correctly - and there
is minimal rub, really. There's only a minor luster break.
Nowhere near AU 50 - there is way too much luster and
detail to be considered an AU 50. The "hand and thumb"
detail is too great to be on an AU 50; usually, at that grade
level, the "hand and thumb" detail has worn off [ if there was
any to begin with.]

HardTimes - who imaged your 1876 Half ?
Nice looking coin !!
-
Merry Christmas everyone !!
Here's a Quarter from my 1889 Mint set:
-
Buffalo Head and Tejas - I really like both of those halves.
I love the 1839's lightly worn patina - and I have always wanted
the "right" looking 1812 CBH. Nice coins, guys !! Very nice !!!

Chris - I've been good down here in the land of Blue Hair -
thanks for asking.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I've just picked up a couple of Proof coins for my cousin's
wife's birthday present... nothing special - just nice coins:
-
Boiler - you certainly have a good eye -
nicely toned coin - very acceptable grade -
and an old Doily Holder to boot. Nice Pick Up.
-
Just picked this one up off the Bay - its in a PCGS 64 Non FH Holder.
I thought it was a decent strike as most of the head detail is still there.
1930-S:
Sellers images - but he stated that the coin is from a Bowers & Merena
auction - and that he "borrowed" the images. I'm never very impressed
with B&M's images - usually, the coin is much nicer in hand.
Once my newest SLQ set is approximately 50% complete, I'll send it to
a professional photographer.
-
Nice Jeff's !!
Here's a Lincoln for my Dad's Birthyear collection...
-
Nice IHC's Dean.
Here's another 1892...with a couple of tag alongs.
This image has only been seen by Dr. Shireman and myself.
I purchased his duplicate 1892-O Micro O in an ANACS 55
holder. This coin came out of the James Bennett Pryor collection.
I ended up selling the ANACS micro O for another - a PCGS 55
Micro O - and in turn sold that for Dr. Shireman's duplicate PCGS 63.
Sorry for the small images...
-
I bought this coin over 20 years ago -
and finally broke down and had it certified.
I really don't collect Jeff's - but have always
appreciated the Keys to any series.

Reworked older image:

Richard -
Nice montage of coins - I really like
the 1891-S Quarter - nicest one I have
seen. Been looking for one for my MS date
set - my Grandmother's birthyear set.
