Here's another addition to my Half Dollar collection.
This 1893-P - is in an ANACS AU 58 Holder - and its a TDR !!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I was also notified that I won this Dime for my 12 yr old cousin's set:
45,510
-
And now, for something completely different...
-
Here's the Mint State version of the 1891 Quarter...
... I have almost a complete set of 1891 dated coins because
it was my Grandmother's birthyear....
-
My newest addiction - Barber Dimes in VF-XF for
my 1st cousin's 12 yr old son. I know the boy will love this.
Here's something I picked up on eBay - and from my
friend Tom Casey no less. Thanks again, Tom.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I believe I gave my opinion of Proof 62 Dimes across the street.
If you like it - great - when it comes time to sell it - not great.
Buy what you like - and don't worry about other people's opinions.
What's it worth ? [ 1905 Dime PR 62 = $ 325-350 - my best educated guess.]
{RETAIL} If it has Cam features - or beautiful rim toning - you "might" have to
pay a slight premium.
Post an image !!

OP - Very sweet coin. Love it !!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Newp - an addition to my SLQ newest set -
not a FH - but still a decent Head - and - its
$9,000 less than the same coin with an ear hole.
-
last coin: 1891...
It helps somewhat that my Grandmother was born in 1891...
so, I have a few coins with her birthyear.

-
When I last left off it was the year: 1892 - or - Any Barber Dime.
So... where the Mercuries came from is beyond me...

Newest upgrade :
45,245

I just was notified that my bid held on an 1895 Quarter in PCGS 63
I thought it had great toning - and I'm looking forward to getting it in hand:

...1892...

I've been picking up 1898 Dimes for my cousin's 12 yr old son.
He was born in 1998 and my cousin thought it'd be neat to get a
100 yr old coin for his son.
Here's the 1898-O in PCGS 45 I just won on Coinfest's Heritage auction.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A few months back, I won the Phila version in PCGS 55:
... and lastly, the San Francisco issue in PCGS 50:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here's another 1898-P Dime - but its for my AU 58 Date Set:
45,084

I won this IHC error at Heritage's auction today
and its a perfect addition to my growing collection
of interesting IHC's.

OP -
Without reading who took the image - I knew
the coin from Mark Feldman - the image has
his "thumbprint all over it"... in a manner of speaking.
Nice looking proof Half - Thanks for sharing it !!

Just picked up an old friend that I sold two years ago.
Never thought I'd see her again.

I can't believe that the Barber Thread slipped to Page 3 !!!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sorry - no new images yet - decided to wait a bit and hand deliver
all the better Halves to the Photographer when I make it to FUN.
BTW - I'll be assisting my good friend Glenn Holsonbake at the Tampa
FUN Show this January... no table numbers yet - but I'll be there !!
The registration will be under HOLSONBAKE NUMISMATICS .
Looking forward to meeting old and new friends alike.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This thread is for new images... and here's my latest NEWP -
which is an upgrade to my AU 53...
Now - for you RPM guys [ and gals ] - look up Breen # 4159.
This is the extremely rare S/O RPM that Breen refers to; its not the S/S RPM
The 1898-S page from David Lawrence:
where David mentions Breen reporting an RPM that may be an S over O.
Dave mentions that he had never seen one.
Any thoughts here amoungst the readership ??

I also loved that show - odd-ball British humor -
but funny as all get out !!
I have tried not to double post my newps which
I usually post on the Barber Thread.
If you don't mind wading thru 700 posts -
you'll see what is my primary focus.
But I will post this one Barber because I
litterally stumbled across this coin on a B&M
internet only auction last night.
Its an 1893-P Half in an ANACS 58 holder -
and its got the TDR designation on the holder.
