1926-S - NGC 65 FH - part of my 1st collection.

That's a rare coin, Broadstruck. Like the 17-S Dime @ 12% O/C,

you have a great collection of errors. BTW - Thanks again for the

17-S O/C.

Here's a 1917-D

There was a nice looking 1905-P Quarter in NGC 64 at a

recent Heritage auction - which sold for $2,070.

Beautiful coin - but - $2K for a coin worth half that ?

Thanks, Alan and Bobby. I have been looking for an 1893 AU 58 for so long,

its not funny. Funny thing is that one did show up last week at another Heritage

auction - and it was a decent 58 - and it closed for $431 !! Crazy money for an

AU 58. I'm happy with this 64 - and although its really too nice for my set, I'll

"rough it"...

I've also been working on another SLQ collection - and the other day, I won

a 1926-S in MS 64:

Today, I was the lucky bidder for these two coins - and although neither of these three coins have a Full Head - they are well struck - and all display a fair amount of Head.

I decided not to post the larger images - they're crazy big.

Upgrade to my V Nickel collection...

Just picked up a couple of Morgans for my Mom's birthyear collection.

They are nothing "out of this world" - then again, I have never seen an

attractively toned 1921 Mongan [ yet ].

These two are not too bad - and for 64's - they're okay, IMHO.

I put together a nice 1957 Proof set for

my cousin's wife who has also been a

great friend over the years.

Those are some beautifully toned Franklins.

My collection of Franklins are Proofs which I have

posted before. I had a couple of MS Franklin Halves

in a 2x2 for ages and thought I'd get them holdered.

Here are the NGC images - not great detail - but

decent enough.

Maybe I should have placed them into Library of Coins albums

for the last 20 years to acquire the great toning I see posted here !!

Here's another 26-S I picked up some time ago -

Nice seeing the new Army Commems - I just got my coins from the Mint a couple of weeks ago and I have not had any of the 1982+ Commems certified. I have kept them all in their original capsules and have them in an Eagle album.
