AnkurJ - very special Large Cent - I love it.
Thanks as well to all who helped Jobessi
with the rim images of a normal and a Proof strike
on his Lincoln. Great detailed imaged. Even I could see
the differences. !!
I am pleased to announce the addition to my newest SLQ collection:

Ok - the commems got stuck for awhile... lets do either 1921 dated coins
[ such as the Pilgrim above ] - Buffalo Nickels - or - errors.
... and in this case ... all three !!
Beautiful buffalo. Is this one of your coins that will be auctioned off?
Sorry,
I'm keeping my Mint sets [ 1889, 1891, 1917, 1921 & 1947 ]
as well as my early Proof Sets [ 1889 & 1891 ].
My SLQ's will not be auctioned off either.
The IHC error collection is at auction... there's
alot of neat things in that set.

What pieces are you auctioning off? All of the coins that I have seen you post here appear premium quality and have excellent eye appeal. I will definitely keep my eyes posted looking for them in the next auction.
Keep your eyes peeled for the Heritage ANA pre-show auction.
The name of the collection...
Elbesaar...
what else ?
-
JOM,
I almost kept this one out of the sale -
even the previous owner wanted it back
but the timing was all wrong for him.
Its a very attractive coin - it truly is.
The pre-ANA Heritage sale is 8/11 & 8/12;
if there is an Internet only sale [ I assume there is ]
then I would imaging that sale is the 13th.
I received an email from HA today, my coins
have been accepted into their system. Nothing
has been posted as of yet though.
I'll post the 1905 Dimes later.

It was the one coin that I did not want to "have" to get
to complete my Dime collection. As a matter of fact,
the Dansco Dime book was the first Dansco album I
had ever purchased. { All of my older albums were
Whitman Bookshelf Albums } . I told the dealer who had
albums that I wanted to look at the inside of the album
before I bought it. I mentioned I would only buy the album
if there was no slot for the 94-S.
So, in answer to your question, I never considered buying
the 1894-S.
Wouldn't mind owning one - if I hit Lotto.

Seventeen years of collecting Barbers has afforded me
the opportunity of assembling a nice collection. Originally,
I was only interested in AU 55-58 coins but as time went by,
I started adding MS coins.
While I still own these coins, I thought I'd share them with
my fellow Barberites. Sadly, the statement that we are never
the owners of coins, just their custodians, is the truth.
I recently retired and the sale of the Barbers at this time was
a long range plan. Not all of my Barbers are being sold at
the Heritage pre ANA auction this August 11th and 12th,
but the majority are.
Enjoy the rest of the images.

Thanks, Bobby.
Although my old one was nicer - it also had
the cash - cow designation FH - and my newp
doesn't have the cost multiplier attached to it
but I think its almost as nice a coin as another
costing many thousands more !!
Here's my old 1919-D - PCGS 64 FH
