  1. This has so many red flags its scary, I hope that NGC deletes this thread and the op along with it. Time for you to return to etsy op.
  2. Thanks for the complement @Lem E I like to find those zinc Lincolns when I can; not sure if I'll ever fill in all those empty slots but maybe one day. And wowzah those new Jefferson's of yours are some serious eye candy. That 50-D is quite stunning and I'm not usually a toning fan.
  3. Nothing very special, this year I have been slowly filling in the blanks for the memorial Lincoln years. Lots of empty slots still but here is one I just picked up.
  4. Sorry to hear that your so busy, but hopefully that will translate to some coin money down the road! And its good to see you are doing well.
  5. Its hard to beat the feel of a Morgan dollar in your hand, the weight and as you say the history behind them. While its true that many just sat in bank vaults and were only ever caressed by a canvas bag, some did circulate and it is fun to think about these being slid across the saloon bar or slipped into the corset of a working girl.
  6. No time to keep up with all the thread this week, had to do them all at once.
  7. I like trimes but my eyes are getting too old to see these tiny coins as well as I'd like. Someday I need to get a nice MS example for my type set.
  8. I am in the replated reprocessed camp, AU details but no value over face value.
  9. Totally agree with @GBrad, to the op you are confusing regular minted coins and rare varieties. Not the same thing at all.
  10. The obv looks right, does it have that little die gouge above the "N" of cent on the reverse?
  11. Well the good news is that you have only lost $31.99 (assuming you are the buyer), could be much worse.
  12. You can follow the directions on the main NGC website. On the main page you will see a menu bar with submit as one of the menus. Hover over that and a list will appear, choose how to submit and follow the directions.
  13. Welcome to the forum, just a minor die fill no added value.
  14. Just some strike doubling, the reverse die looks ever so slightly MAD (a term for when the die is not perfectly centered). Note how the rim is very thin on one side and thicker on the other, this likely caused the coin to move as it was struck which resulted in the strike doubling to be more noticeable on the obv. Its an interesting find that shows some of the striking anomalies that happen but none of it adds any value or makes the coin collectable as an error.
  15. Thanks for your link to those pop numbers, I don't collect these and was confused by your comment as I checked the same place that @Fenntucky Mike linked. Just a reporting breakdown that NGC provides, I never get hung up on the label thing and just look at the total category.
  16. Thanks for linking that article, that is the kind of stuff that fools and sells well in todays digital world.
  17. the coming (partly already here) hyper inflation will wipe out many collectors well before climate change.
  18. All I can say is that I'm soooooo glad I did not buy any of those, Kurt was spot on when he said it makes a Chinese counterfeit look good. The one good thing about them is now hopefully the hoopla and endless threads on these will end quickly.
  19. I was thinking that it had been quite awhile since I last saw a post from @Woods020, so I checked and it looks like he has not logged in since Oct 14th. Hope he is ok.
  20. What does the title "Penny Vat" have to do with submitting a coin for grading. Bty the correct term is cent not penny, penny is a character on a sitcom.
  21. Perhaps it would be easier for us to discuss your question if you could link the populations in your op.
