Did o-k on the auctions. I did bid on around 8 coins and got them returned to my registry. I was not letting anything go for free.
With all deductions and sold coin removals I am at a new stage in my collecting.
A total of 1300 graded slabs are left. Total list value in collection manager is at $67,000 at a cost of $2000.
I will remain selling and buying coins till I get $100,000 value at no cost.

Indeed. We're moving after 3.5 years hear and coming up on 6 years of marriage (and 2 kids) and we're purging a lot - though maybe not as much as we (I) should be. I'm the one with all the junk though. She isn't as much of "collector" / "hoarder" as I am.
Sorry you lost her. I hope you're still making out okay though and you still have an in-person friend group to spend time with.

I, too, am back after a long absence.  And I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your wife, I really am.  I just wanted to offer my condolences. I had a couple of serious losses myself during my time away.....I lost both my mom and stepmom to cancer in 2020.  It really sucks.....I feel for you, man.

It is kinda weird as Glenda hated my coin obsession and she finally saw that I was doing well selling. I wont end up with $100,000 value at no cost as I planned 10 years ago but ......  You know I would love to just hear her yell at me for buying a $500 dime.

She has been gone for almost 2 years now and I am downsizing on everything to make my life more simpler.

I have been outbid on a few top pop dimes and nickels the past month. With that in mind I know the market is strong. I will be sending all my graded U.S. coins into Great Collection Auction this winter for a Nov./Dec. auction sale. Presently I am waiting for a few packages to arrive that will contain all of TPETERS coins. His family is liquidating his collection and I will be selling those for them as well.

Been here almost 20 years. You have to go with the flow. Spent last week getting use to the new registry and it is a struggle but once you figure everything out it works well.

I would like to take time to bless all the friends  here for their losses in the family. 
It is a new era with all that is going on and I am sure that many people here have lost someone in the past year or 2.

over the years in the full step collection has enticed me into having my own little collection of sweet Jefferson nickels.
