Just Bob got a reaction from Alex in PA. in How frequently does NGC disagree with the PCGS grading in a crossover?
Lisa, I have the feeling that the title of this thread will attract the attention of a lot of people doing internet searches. For the benefit of future readers, would you mind explaining the term "netted"?

Just Bob got a reaction from Alex in PA. in The "Pac-Man" Cent is back from the dead.....now on a 1972-D Cent!
Sad.
And then you look at related items further down the page, and see "double-struck" coins that are obviously damaged, probably intentionally, and you just have to shake your head.

Just Bob got a reaction from Coinbuf in Top Pop for PCGS Coins
That has to be one of the dumbest questions I've ever seen asked on this forum.

Just Bob got a reaction from GBrad in Slab Coin holders
NGC recommends using 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 (63.5mm x 63.5mm) flips for submissions. Most collectors seem to prefer/use the 2 x 2 flips for storage. The larger flips make it easier for them to remove your coins without damage. Use non-PVC products for both, obviously.

Just Bob got a reaction from kellyt in Planchet error? 1st coin sent in 1981 p Kennedy
Welcome to the forum.
My guess is that the coin was removed from a bezel or encasement of some kind, and will not receive a grade, but I hope I am wrong.
Good luck with your submission.

Just Bob got a reaction from Mohawk in 1976 approval for small size Eisenhower dollar
I looked at the Annual Mint Reports for 1976-1978, and could find no pictures or reference to a small Ike dollar. I did find pictures of the proposed-but-rejected Liberty Head small dollar, though. Too bad this design was replaced with the Susan B. Anthony portrait. It could have been a good-looking coin. Neither it nor the Eisenhower designs may have been any more popular than the adopted design, but either one would have looked much better, in my opinion.

Just Bob got a reaction from GBrad in Any body know what's going on here?
A coin removed from an encasement - like a "Lucky Penny" holder - will often have an edge like that. Sometime just on one side; sometimes both.

Good job, Woods.
The inscription on the reverse, 中華人民共和國香港特別行政區, translates to: "Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic"
