Another holiday

For the subjects of the Realm... Boxing Day, if I remember correctly, is celebrated the day after Christmas. Also, if I remember correctly, it is when the master of the house and the servants trade places for a day. Unfortunately for me, I happen to be both master and servant, so I guess that means tomorrow I will have a split personality. I have a beautiful Australian half dollar from 1966. A 1971 Proof Merry Christmas!

Kennedy Half PF 68 Ultra Cameo Well, I FINALLY got my 23 coins back, and was please to find that one of the five 1971 Kennedy Halves was graded a PF 68 Ultra Cameo! Yea for me! But wait! There's more! I also had 3 graded with stars (*) two graded at 68, and one at 69! and, as a small bonus, I also had a PF 69 Cameo Lincoln cent! Time to exhale..............

That's a great story...... I like to buy morgans, graded, ungraded, circulated until the rim is gone, cleaned, rim dings and I even have one thats bent. Unusuall Error Find

It's not on the coin, its in the package... Ok, I like finding a good die crack here and there. So, I get out my 2005 Legacy set just to check the O! The Joy! nickel. I struck out there, so I start to look at the obverses. I see this shiny line across Jefferson's forehead. Maybe paper thin, but there is something there. I'm thinking, "what a crack!" 1856 Gold Dollar Indian Princess Slanted 5

Absolute exquisite coin pendant. This has a wreath on the back and the number 5 is I think what might be called slanted. It has a slope like shape on 5. I love to wear this every now and then. One of patients gave it to me as a gift. I have kept this a long time it in a dry area and it has kept its gold tint. I never see anyone wearing this nice coin.12-23-2005

My thoughts on the current topic of solely PCGS sets being listed. When I first started collecting coins someone said to me to buy only NGC or PCGS graded coins. That piece of advice has served me well over the years. I know some people like only one or the other company exclusively. One of the few you could get out of a $1.00 slot machine. Many had different pictures on back. This casino no longer exist in Wendover, Nevada. .999 Front with the old Stateline Cowboy Marque and this one on back is the hardest to find. Stallion horses.
