Thanks Wheat, it is a tough year by percentage although I do not know how 1933 year ranks with other years in the Lincoln series. I have MS66RD for both the P and D mints and both of mine are CAC'd. Looking at the data (I know this is not truly accurate as the pop reports are off but it the best we have to go on) 8% of the MS66 population of PCGS and NGC (includes plus grades) is CAC approved and 9% of the MS67 population for the P mint coins. While 6% of the MS66 population and 4% of the MS67 population is CAC approved for the D mint coins.

Those percentages are likely low as I am guessing the pops are wrong but maybe not by too much.

Both my p and d are CAC but it took about 3 tries (different coins each time)on both to get it. Your % s are probably close. That 22 d I posted is the one that got the gold bean.

I'm always amazed at how nice this date comes, I wish my complete collection looked like this.

Nice 1919.

(thumbs u

I know new dies came out in 1916. Did new dies also come out in 1919?

I agree with you that the 1919 usually comes very nice with superb beard detail.

I do not know Lee, good question for Roger. But my guess is no just continued from the 1916 new dies. My reasoning for that is that by the early to late twenties much of the production shows less and less details and I would not expect to see such a rapid loss of detail from new dies in 1919. But that is only my guess.

Nice philly coins Lance :)

I'm amazed at how all your images show the lustre and color on copper. I have used a lot of folks for imaging and Mike Printz when he was at his previous job was the closest to your effort, but your work tops his also.

Much congrat's!!!!

:applause:

Can I send you some coins to image?
