Well it seems I got side tracked - I never finished posting my newest images of Dimes from Messydesk !

I think I left off with a 1902 in an NGC 58 Holder...

Here's my latest 05-O - PCGS 63

Here's a newer addition - I swapped one of my old 1907-S's from the 1st Album I ever owned - and it was graded AU 58 - I had it CAC'd as well.

A good friend had just gotten this coin [ below ] and I wanted his Pedigree

of Eliasberg - and he now has an Elbesaar Pedigree in his set:

Photobucket is being a pain again - files are jumbled - to be continued.

Thanks ... I thought that 03 Dime was a good fit for my date set.

I decided to upgrade my 01-S Dime - it was an ex: ANACS 50 - and

crossed to a PCGS XF 45. Although a really nice coin, I thought this

Newp would be a better fit into my latest complete set.

( if the image doesn't take / they did on the Registry site

then I'll ammend this once I am off the iPad )

Nice 01-S, Mike.

Thanks, Justin.

Here's the one it replaces...

Once in an ANACS 50 holder - ( HA images )

1901-SDimeANACS50OBV_zps8b090724.jpg

.... then it crossed to PCGS.... as an XF 45 ... ( my iPhone pic )

The 45 is a really nice coin and I should be able to get rid of it easily enough.

This is NOT a solicitation to buy/sell.

I was trying to upload a set of Halves I have been working on

and one date was blocked at being in one of my old "All Time Finest Sets".

This set is nowhere near the top 5 sets - but as I retired it - all the coins

are forever blocked from re entering my collection. Seems I have bought

and sold a few of the same coins over the years.

Here's the start of the Third Second Set of Halves:

Thanks for sharing, Mark. That's a really attractive 07-S Quarter.

I picked up a Type One 1892-O Quarter today for my set:

Mark: Nice 1914 - love the reverse toning - did that come

from the recent HA Long Beach auction as well ? It slipped

under my radar. Congrats. One of the nicest toned Quarters

around.

Hey Mark, No wonder I didn't see that 1914 Quarter - I was watching the

Breaking Bad marathon - and the final episode was over at 10:15.

Picked this upgrade for the MS set:

I also am having this one sent as well...

Now that I've retired - my eyes are always scanning different sites for

"pretty little things"...

Here's a newp that I hadn't noticed until Mark bought that great toned Quarter

that he just showed us. Every so often, I guess someone has to stick my nose

in web sites before I realize there are some real gems hidden in not so fancy

auctions.

Here's a duplicate 1896 Dime - but its so much nicer looking than my MS 63.
