Anyone have any information on the Sunset Collection? I was just curious about the size and perhaps an estimate of coins and owned and estimated value. Seems like coins from the collection have been on the market at various auction houses for quite some time. Coins are fantastic grade wise and seem to cover most denominations.

Got to the submissions page and services and prices are shown. Also an estimate of turn around times.

There actually is a difference in the grading companies, including ANACS on how they grade and what they grade. Two series I am familiar with NGC is much tougher on the FT vs FB designations on Roosevelt Dimes. Both NGC and ANACS are much more stringent on the FBL designation on Franklin Halves.
I personally consider ANACS the leader in attributes in error coins.
Overall all three are vital to our hobby and much needed for effective success.

How about a Roosevelt Dime 1946-1964 circulation set without FT or PL. etc. ? Right now there are 358 sets in the FT registry and there just isn't enough FT coins available in some dates/MMs to be completed.
Thanks!

No. I do not believe they do. If you consign to them, you have the option, as the owner / seller of the coin to determine what starting price you wish the coin to be listed for.

Would a Roosevelt Dime Proof Set from 1965-Date be considered without varieties?
It is virtually impossible to have a competitive set with the scores for the varieties such as no S and Ultra Cameos being so high.
Thanks!

I really like the addition of this new tool.
I do have one request however. I think there should be an option on the price guide value to fill it in manually. Although no price guide may exist, there are auction results, private sales, etc, where real values are known.
Overall, a really nice tool!

There are quite a few coins that auction on GC that day from the Sunset Collection. Seem to be in quite a few denominations with high grade and most have attractive toning.
