  1. Thank you! Yes I looked at way back and current and it is all over the place. Including current offers. I appreciate your input everything helps! Are those percentages from experience?
  2. Thanks that's helpful if accurate. I myself don't do any business with a dealer or dealers yet. Just wanted to educate myself if I ever go to one. Is that from experience?
  3. Thank you that was helpful. Not planning on it for now. I added it to my nickel collection. I know in the future I would be better off finding a buying myself then.
  4. That's not correct. It's with 5FS. Also I'm looking for a ballpark wholesale value or offer that would be fair if sold to a dealer not retail. Which would be much less to the value price listed I was thinking an offer of $350-$450 would be fair but I could be completely wrong. So I wanted opinions.
  5. I was wondering about opinions on a fair wholesale resale value/price. In case I ever part with it. Also trying to see if I came out ahead etc. Thank you for your time! Hope everyone is doing well
  6. Same, I have paid some high prices for some. Nothing in that range though. I have been buying lesser quality so I can have more..for now . I will have to take a look at your registry sets.
  7. Can't beat that for a dollar! I wonder what else was in there?
  8. Beautiful coin!!! Ouch makes mine and the one I'm looking at like spare change.. I don't know what you do for a living but you must be able to afford it or have really good connections. Congrats again on that fine specimen!! Definitely jealous Do you have a registry?
  9. Thank you, I didn't get too much info from it other than price guide and inaccurate census. I did just see one that was a Proof 65 CAC go for almost $2500 listed though wow.
  10. Good ole@RWB would appreciate that. I'm sure it's a good read. I will look into it . Do you think $385 is a good buy for this particular piece? Asking since you have obtained one yourself. I'm assuming your fond of Walkers? I do have one 1944 MS65 maybe I should hold off and put the money towards another piece that is different to add. Unless the price is too good to pass up for this one? Pictures/lighting suck its much better in hand with some colorful toning just wish I didn't have those two black spots meh.
  11. I noticed quite a few with no initials without the designation and comparing the census report. That was one reason I reached out. Thank you, I don't have any proof Walkers yet so I'm just going to wait then. $385 doesn't seem worth it, I will keep looking.
  12. Can someone tell me more about the 1941 Proof with no initials versus the 1941 with initials. I know it's from over polishing the dies. Is this common? Population or percentage of population seems low compared to the overall mintage. Seems like low interest at the moment. Which would you prefer? Thank you for your opinions and time. Currently looking at a 1941 Proof 65 seems like a decent price but it looks cloudy..probably why it's marked down.
  13. Bad data and bias data..it wouldn't be so bad if people didn't follow just one narrative and be open to keep digging deeper on topics. Rather than hearing or reading one thing and drawing a conclusion. Always the fastest results/conclusions.
  14. I'm glad you could see the humor in that! It made me smile and a little sad. I'm sure your a great guy Henri. Atleast to your wife anyways
  15. This is why AI can be biased and a mess..and considerably dangerous if used without the right parameters. Especially in warfare when they run simulations it doesn't look so good..
  16. Yeah I looked already no similarities sadly. i will take silver anytime.
  17. Found a 1963-D Washington Quarter today. Pretty sure it's not a variety..
  18. Ok so it won't matter then and it's just a coin with less copper on the rim than usual. Thank you
  19. Ok good to know thank you! If it is below tolerance what does that mean about a clad quarter? I just want to clarify and understand. Thank you
  20. @EagleRJO @powermad5000 Alright I will get a scale that weighs to the hundredths of a gram if that's best. I assumed that wasn't going to be good enough still figured I would ask I don't normally try to weigh coins and check. I asked about this coin because it was in a roll and stood out like a sore thumb. I thought I finally found another junk silver quarter but to my dismay I'm assuming I found a quarter with just more cladding which from what I understand now happens time to time. So this happens under normal circumstances correct?
  21. I was wondering why the rim has less copper on the rim after being sandwiched? Nothing major I was just curious on the why? Also does the weight being between 4-5 grams make much a difference versus the mints 5.670g? What is the tolerance for weight? I probably need a scale that weighs better. Thank you just curious.
