  1. Hello @Ty Gemberling Thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately, this information is not available to our Customer Service department. I am moving your question so that it can be viewed by fellow collectors and they may be able to offer some assistance. Please reach out to us again if you have any other questions.
  2. Hello @VasquezJ, Thank you for reaching out to us. Your coin was placed on hold because the initial evaluation determined that the declared value significantly overvalued the coin. Because fees can be quite significant for coins submitted with high declared values, in these cases, we will reach out to you to provide the opportunity to lower the declared value. I see that you have spoken with us over the phone and we have relayed your request to process the coin with a declared value of $25,000. We can proceed as requested and the submission will be charged the associated Walkthrough fee. You should have received an email advising you of this issue, you can also reply to this email as well. They may be able to provide more information related to the initial review of the coin during verification. I understand you are eager to receive your coin back, and while the selected Walkthrough tier generally processes very quickly, resolving Receiving issues, such as this one, does require more time. I will follow up with our Receiving Manager to confirm that this coin is confirmed to move forward for grading, and we will follow up with you via email. If you have any additional questions, please let us know.
  3. Hello @Liam ll Thank you for reaching out to us. Our online resources include the NGC price guides are provided by a third party and offer information based on their auction sales data, and these tools may be of some assistance. These guides do not provide data referencing a specific date, however, they can show you different timeframes (example provided in the screencap below.) I am sorry that, beyond the information accessible via these online resources, I cannot provide any additional data or specific historical value or sales data for your coins. This type of research is not currently a service provided by NGC. You can access these resources by visiting NGCCoins.com and using the Resources tab. If you have any other questions, please let us know.
  4. Hello @The old expert Thank you for reaching out to us. The post you are referring to is an NGC Chat Boards post under the Newbie Coin Collecting Questions category and is not an NGC Coins article. This Chat Board is a place where collectors can discuss Numismatics topics and help others, especially new collectors. NGC staff and graders do not evaluate or identify coins via photos on the chat boards. Please feel free to join these discussions with your fellow coin enthusiasts should you have information to contribute to the topics. If you have any other questions, please let us know.
  5. Hello @Gummy Bear 09 Good question! Your credit can be used toward any NGC fees, including images and labels. If you have any other questions, please let us know.
  6. Hello @Bob Flaminio Thank you for reaching out to us. To reholder the coins individually, you will choose a reholder service based on the declared value of each coin. You can find reholder options here: https://www.ngccoin.com/submit/services-fees/ngc/?view=reholders. List each coin type and the corresponding quantity on individual lines on the submission form. The reholder fee will apply per coin. Please note at the top of your submission form "ENCAPSULATE INDIVIDUALLY" to call out and confirm that your intent is to change the holder type. If you have any other questions, please let us know.
  7. Hello @Ahmed Fathy99 Thank you for reaching out to us. NGC will ship via USPS to PO Boxes or international addresses, however, we no longer offer domestic return shipping via USPS and USPS has ended support for Express Mail service accounts. If you wish to use USPS for a PO Box or non-US address, please keep in mind that USPS Mail will generally be slower than FedEx, and NGC is not responsible for the speed of shipping services. The rates for shipping via USPS Mail are the same as shipping via FedEx. You will also want to consider a third-party shipping insurer such as shipandinsure.com. You can view our shipping policies here: https://www.ngccoin.com/news/article/8447/ngc-return-shipping-fees/ If you have any other questions, please let us know.
  8. Hello @kgieskes, Thank you for your submission! We look forward to receiving and evaluating your coins. I did want to advise you for future submissions, if you are sending documentation, please do not send originals. We generally cannot return them to you and you should retain them for your records. If you have any questions, please let us know.
  9. Hello @tj96, Yes, when you choose VarietyPlus on your submission form, FS-901 will be designated on the label as long as the coin qualifies for the variety designation, of course. If you have any other questions, please let us know.
  10. Hello @kgieskes Thank you for your reply. NGC has been grading coins since 1987 and our grading team is trained to take great care when handling your coins while they are being processed. I would highly suggest placing your coins in non-PVC flips. If you wish to place the flips back in the mint case and it can be secured safely for shipping, you are welcome to do so. If you have any other questions, please let us know.
  11. Hello @tj96 Thank you for reaching out to us. The 2000 Sacagawea Dollar can be submitted for the FS-901 variety designation. You can view the varieties NGC will recognize for this coin here: https://www.ngccoin.com/variety-plus/united-states/dollars/sacagawea-dollars-2000-date/ You can submit your graded coin for VarietyPlus service to have this variety added. The fee for VarietyPlus is $18.00 per coin. FYI: All "Ask NGC" posts are moderated by customer service and your questions will remain pending until we can review and answer your question. If you have any other questions please let us know.
  12. Hello @MTinis, Thank you for your patience. Submission 6961000 just needs to be finalized and then it should move to shipping. I have reached out to our grading team to see if we can get this moved forward as quickly as possible. if you have any other questions, please let us know.
  13. Hello @Kenbob233, The set can be submitted and graded but the labels would not receive a set designation indicating that the coins and note are from the set if the set is not submitted in the sealed mint shipping box. If you have any other questions, please let us know.
  14. Hello @Kenbob233, Thank you for reaching out to us. The following applies to the 2000 Millennium set. MILLENNIUM SET (2000) Contains a 2000-D Sacagawea Dollar, 2000 American Silver Eagle, and $1 Federal Reserve Note. Mint Set Attribution is available for all submitters. There is no additional fee for this set designation. Sets must be submitted in the sealed US Mint shipping box. Request MILLENNIUM SET designation on the NGC Submission Form. (The $1 Federal Reserve Note must be submitted to PMG - you can locate PMG submission forms here: https://www.pmgnotes.com/account/my-submissions/) You will need to submit the set in its sealed mint packaging (unopened mint shipping box) and you must include a completed NGC submission form for the coins as well as a completed PMG submission form for the note. You can write "Millenium Set Designation" at the top of both forms. Aside from the additional notation, the forms will be filled out normally. If you have any other questions, please let us know.
  15. Hello @MTinis, Thank you for confirming. I do see the submission number was in the subject line, sorry we missed it! We are currently processing the intake of FUN show submissions. Due to the volume of submissions received at the show and processing through intake, we cannot pull resources to search for a specific submission. However, once your submission is being processed by receiving, they will note that Crossover was not chosen. Since you did list a crossover type on the form, they may be able to process normally without any additional information. If the receiving team has any questions regarding which crossover option you prefer, at any grade versus at the same grade or higher, we will contact you via email. If you have any other questions, please let us know.
  16. Hello @21 Blessed Thank you for reaching out to us. I am sorry but I cannot provide a value for your coin. NGC does not buy, sell, or appraise the monetary value of coins. We do have an online price guide that may offer some information: https://www.ngccoin.com/price-guide/united-states/. These prices are provided by a third party and are based on auction sales data. You may also want to check completed sales for online auction sites like eBay and the posted sales prices of online coin dealers. If you are interested in submitting your coin for grading you can find a guide on how-to-submit here: https://www.ngccoin.com/submit/how-to-submit/ If you have any other questions, please let us know.
  17. Hello @vetemt, Thank you for reaching out to us. Unfortunately, I cannot assist in estimating a sales price for your graded coins. NGC does not appraise the value of coins or suggest selling prices. The prices you see online in the price guide or posted on the coin's certification page are provided by a third party and are based on auction sales data. To determine current market value, you may also try to review recent completed auctions on sites such as eBay or the posted sales prices of online coin dealers. If you have any other questions, please let us know.
  18. Hello @Cam0110, Thank you for reaching out to us. Multi-coin holders are not available for collector submissions. For regular collector submissions, each coin is encapsulated in its own holder. I am sorry we cannot accommodate a request for a four-coin holder. All multi-coin holders are currently only available for select dealer and retailer bulk submissions. If you have any other questions, please let us know.
  19. Hello @EhPlusCoins, Thank you for reaching out. Imaging services offer the opportunity to receive high-resolution image files for use online and in printed material. The $5.00 per coin Internet Imaging service provides images of the obverse and reverse of the coin, shown encapsulated in its NGC holder. The $8.00 per coin PhotoVision Plus service provides high-resolution JPG images of the obverse and reverse and a side-by-side JPG with the NGC logo and NGC submission number. All coins are imaged as a courtesy and these images are uploaded to the NGC certification verification webpage, but the submitter is not provided with these image files. Whichever service is chosen, NGC imaging can provide a way to display coins in your registry collections or the marketplace and can provide a visual record of your collection for security/insurance purposes. You can read more and see examples here: https://www.ngccoin.com/specialty-services/imaging/ If you have any other questions, please let us know.
  20. Hello @Erin33, Thank you for reaching out. It is not required but if you would like to note the coins on your submission as 5FS or 6FS as a reference, you may. You do not need to add any additional services as 5FS and 6FS designations are assigned as part of the standard grading process. You can read more about these designations here: https://www.ngccoin.com/news/article/6752/learn-grading-full-steps-nickels/. No additional notes are needed for coins with toning. If you have any other questions, please let us know.
  21. Hello @Mike Meenderink , Thank you for updating your payment information. I see that payment was processed successfully today. The hold has been removed from your submission and it should move to shipping soon. If we can help with anything else, please let us know.
  22. Hello @Dmitriy 1978 Thank you for reaching out to us. This dot may affect the overall grade of the coin, however, it is unlikely to be considered eligible for an error designation. Confirmation of any destinations would require an in-hand evaluation by the grading team. You can view articles about the Mint Errors we designate here: NGC Coins | Search "Mint Error" If you have any other questions, please let us know.
  23. Hello @Gary4715 Your claim is still open and in process. It appears that it should be resolved soon. I have asked our Claims representative to reach out to you with a status update. If you have any other questions, please let us know.
  24. Hello @Patrick Knight, Thank you for reaching out to us. Please allow me some time to confirm the designations this coin will qualify for. I will follow up with you via email. If you have any other questions, please let us know.
