  1. Well it’s kinda pretty (to me) I would only pay scrap. It’s not natural toning. 😉
  2. Welcome. That’s a well thought out question. Carefully. Continue doing this posting. Get a feel for eBay. Buy a redbook Etsy no no Nothing like them. There’s buy sell trade area in the forum on NGC. PCGS has one. Beware of the too good to be true. Ask us before you buy. Quick pictures can save a mistake.
  3. Welcome back. I will need to work on this one. Practicing grading. There is a difference with the background. I think it helps I get a feeling it has been cleaned or something. Part of me sez AU 58 details and the other part sez MS62 details. Either way genuine with details will probably be the label. Keep looking and I am a beginner 2-3 years only. Many coins I have seen. Many more to discover. Thanks
  4. This. Welcome. Get the redbook it doesn’t have to be new couple years old will do. Study study study. We are here doing what your doing. Learning and sharing our knowledge.
  5. This $ value might be true but you will have better luck catching a snipe during the hunt. Also junk imitations available. Look out
  6. Welcome You have come to a good place. Much to learn. What you have appear to just be circulated and as mentioned by Mohawk they tend to discolor. Keep searching and do a little study Your pictures are pretty good. We all go through a learning curve.
  7. And ofcourse what happened from 1965-1967 and those dang sms sets. Mohawk is right one the money about the proofs here’s my 63 pf 68
  8. Bill. That’s kinda what I thought about..CAM vs. DCAM. Now there’s a constant question in my head about that label. You did good ngc pcgs top of the cameos usually pretty close.
  9. A dealer/representative certificate membership type of thing or a certified coin submission. There is info on both at NGC Try a search. Good luck
  10. Well I think the silver saint is just fine. Kinda strange you compare a $40 silver 1 oz to a half oz.gold at $2000 for a 69 (eBay for sale). Bill enjoys what he collects. Want to help. Show him a silver in his price range. ( you realize for $2000 you can get a genuine 1oz. ).
  11. Canada calls it one thing and US ase enhanced reverse proof is one of several types. Value is based on mintage and grade. But most of all desirability. The ase is $150-$250. The maple is $75-$100+. The set is $275 - $399
  12. People tend to put some negative opinions about rednecks. So as with every thing you have good and not so good ( notice I didn’t say bad) without redneck engineering.. … where would I be. without redneck logic….. I wouldn’t understand 1/3 of the people who I talk to I spent 4 years in redneck country and some parts of the culture just sneak up on you and before you know it. You develop your own little redneck outlook. I found myself with a better understanding of some of my fellow Americans. Older I get the more different outlooks I have become part of
  13. I also believe any of those are of not much value as they are common dates. Keep for fun but buy a slabbed piece There are many out there
  14. I would like to be placed on the list for an inaugural issue. Numbered and signed. PM me and I’ll pay right up. Thanks James 🤓
  15. Agreed but I believe he’s an original kind of eagle. No spearmint or other flavored products. He could also have to use regular cut to avoid gagging on the little packets 😂
  16. Hey Bill. Here’s the issue that everyone is going crazy hoping the 2021 Morgan’s won’t look like ! long chats about this on the other forum. I guess in hand the reverse really disappoints. I like the obverse but understand the complaints about the reverse. From some of the early acquired photos the new ones are very nice. Released folks all around. I’m rambling 😉
  17. I’m looking at one of these. Just not sure how much I like the design. Like the packaging. We’ll see
  18. Good choice Mike. I’ll put together a PM today. Here’s one to start with. Bought it graded and won a Canadian set. Mintage 10,000. On eBay!
  19. Hey welcome back. Those look like they have been through post mint damage.
  20. Welcome and congratulations on making the proper choice of stopping by here for some advice. Please post your pictures. Do your best to send good pictures of both sides. The following is my opinion and based on a dozen ase experiences. I leave all mint coins, proof, multi-coin sets , burnished,in the OGP. Original government packaging. I don’t trust that I will receive the grade I want with out multiple submissions. I just wait and snag one later. PM me and I’ll share a secret for scoring on eBay.
