  1. Sorry to say .It looks like mostly PMD and the star you see would be to large in comparison to any other star on the coin to be a clash.
  2. Ok, then I will go with Greenstang and say a chip also
  3. It looks like a hit, is some of the O missing there?
  4. Ok, I saw bubbles around the devices of Liberty and if the zinc was missing under the copper it could be incuse after being touched.
  5. It could be a strike through but it could also be blistering ? I find that a lot of the new cents the plating is so thin that moisture gets through and zinc rot does not take long to set in.
  6. It looks normal to me and it is a 93. I would not crack it out it is a good looking coin.
  7. Welcome back Karen, I agree with the others a long bath made Lincoln wrinkle up.
  8. I was running around yesterday and did not have a chance to wish everyone, A Happy Thanksgiving
  9. I don't think it matters one way or the other. Only 1998,99, and 2000 WAM's are the collectable dates
  10. I don't think it matters one way or the other. Only 1998,99, and 2000 WAM's are the collectable dates
  11. It could be that something sharp hit the coin and it shaved the copper without removing it. It has been around a long time.
  12. I remember a bunch of guys from school in the sixty's were doing some until they realized it took way to long to get a ring ..
  13. Yes that one is tough... I have searched many a roll... I think to much time has passed now to find one in a bank roll. I may have to buy one to finish the set. Oh very nice coins Bill I like them.
  14. Yes stop by anytime and feel free to ask questions that is what it is all about. If I can help a new member out cool , if not someone here will know the answer.
  15. I like to buy coins with a clash it adds a little something extra. Finding one roll hunting is a real treat.
  16. You said it Hog........The old days you really needed to know your stuff. It was tough. If you did not belong to a coin club or subscribe to a coin magazine everything would get stretched out or misquoted. Reading and research was a must. This forum is a storehouse of knowledge that newcomers can not grasp because they think the internet information is the gospel and most of it is not. I know it is difficult to see the same 1982 D every day but we have to keep trying or this hobby is not going to be able to survive the Male Cow Feces being handed out to unsuspecting future numismatics.
  17. This collector had so many coins, like rooms full. I have been told that she most likely will be ok weather she sells or not.
  18. Welcome Coin3. Please let us know what you are looking for and try to clean up the picture with a reverse shot added also. thanks
  19. So now everyone scans there coins and the pictures go directly to the counterfeiters in China so they can do a better job. I DON'T THINK SO.........
  20. I will do that VKurtB . Are there any coin shops worth stopping at in Bama ?
  21. This MS68 FS SMS is nice it is just not as matt looking as your 68 in my opinion.
