  1. Welcome Michelle! The quarter you displayed is a normal bi-cen quarter but with some damage and a few minor blobs along with a common circle from a coin rolling machine. I will commend you as a first time poster for providing more than ample photos which, in my opinion, are some of the best photos I have seen from a first time poster. I especially enjoyed the angle photos which help us visualize the coin from different angles, however I must caution you against holding coins in your hand as oils in your hand along with fingerprints could occur on the coin. If it were a true error coin, this could greatly reduce. It’s potential value. They minted jus over 860 million of this coin so they still are quite plentiful. thanks for your post and happy hunting.😍
  2. I think Sandon is correct, The glue and paper on the reverse are a sure indication that it had been glued to a cardboard of sort as a demonstration coin.
  3. After further review... I do think your coin is legitimate. It Is a Victoria Jubilee Head CROWN not five shillings, and is currently found on Ebay for about $60. I apologize, for the mis-statement as I was on the trail of shillings and Florins.
  4. I don’t see the dot either. My 1899 Indian ( in somewhat better condition) show nothing there either
  5. I would say it is NOT real. The finish is suspect and the reverse is completely incorrect. The reverse of an 1890 Victoria jubilee head shilling should have the coat of arms on the reverse. I have both an 1877 Silver Florin and an 1877 one shilling and both have the coat of arms. The coin has a value (if real) at about $15.
  6. I voted yes! Because the value of a roll of 1974 D cents is somewhere between 6 and 16 bucks on EBay so what do you have to lose? Might find a nice gem or something no one has found. Plus you’ll get the thrill of going through a mint bag of cents.
  7. These cents are plentiful and commonly found in roll hunting. The only cool thing is that Canadian cents don’t exist any more after 2014. So you have a historical. Or hysterical collector coin. 🤪
  8. I received the 1982 P “no fg” and it looks legit.
  9. So why not just add your own photo if you are adding to the registry.?
  10. Yea but they are pricey for a worthless coin that can’t be added to a registry.
  11. Way ahead of you, Eagle, bout a ‘no FG’ version and a broad strike version too.
  12. This is to complete my Kennedy Half Dollar Set! Never had one before wont get another, but it is kinda cool.
  13. This is the best I can do with my microscope (sorry out of focus) @nd one with Iphone 15
  14. Couple of nice ones there, JP, happy hunting! Funny thing I have nearly completed my nickels album and discovered that I was missing the 2004 D Keelboat from the album so I paid a ridiculous $1.60 for it free shipping. Lol 😆
  15. According to PCGS coin facts, more than I thought
  16. Don’t beat me up too bad I thought it was a full roll of 40! 😆 I have forgotten about it by now anyway.
  17. 😆 I get it. I have a number of them already. Just clicking emails. Thanks for waking me up!
  18. The good news here is that somebody else paid for grading and probably found out after the fact. But it is. VAM and DDO which still makes it a collectible coin. I don’t think you did too bad. $46 as an Ef40 according to pcgs. I would be happy with that.
