Same here. If I do collect them it will be in 2×2 flips. I can find better coins to spend money on that I like better. Or as Neo mentioned. May put in a Whitman or type album.

I may collect a run of them. Just in case its a short run of that design. Only for that reason. Not because I like it. The reverse designs may be beautiful.

I agree 100% I think its hideous. I would have like to see something entirely new. The old engravers had their moments. Let some of these new engravers have a chance to put out a beautiful design and start a new series. Hopfully these wont last long.

I wanna change my vote. Didnt know what they was gonna look like until i scrolled down. Nothing aginst women. Its got to do with George. Looks like he been on a 3 day drunk. Hair all matted up. Thats the worst design Ive seen yet. The pony tail dont even look real. Looks like a rock hanging off the back of his head. Or some kind of Native American artifact. His necks a bit big for that head. Then they put a nose on him you could plow ground with.

They are getting harder to find. But theres still some out there in the wild. A friend of mine found one and gave it to me. A fairly nice one. I get home from work gonna put it in a coin flip. Just wanted to share it with everyone.

I hope someone who dosent know any better dont get scammed by this person. I think alot of these crazy you tube videos have alot to do with all these crazy prices. Make people think their corroded parking lot cioins are worth hundreds of dollars. Wish theres something that could be done. I guess till its figured out all that can be done is to try to educate people and call sellers out on their bull.

I got the coin in today. I cannot get very good pics. One of these days Im gonna get a good set up where I can take better pics but the junk im using will have to work for now. It looks just like the pics in the op. With the coin in hand. My pics dont look so good. It has a few very tiny black dots above Georges head.

Midnight is late for me. I usuall get up between 3 and 4am depending on where were working. Sometimes earlier. Usually try to go to bed around 8 or 9. This 3 day vacation got my nights and days mixed up where I been staying up to late.

It may be a getting older thing or just getting soft thing, but I got invited to 3 different parties and decided to just stay home and watch tv. Celebrated with a hot cup of coco instead of Budweisers. First year in several years. I was worn plum out for some reason. I made it to midnight but not to long after.

I wasnt aware of that. Im a fairly new collector. Thanks for the info. Ive got a couple I bought from a local pawn shop last year that are very lovely coins. The holders are scuffed up very badly. Looks like the previous owner or shop owner was very abusive to them. Id like to send them in to get scratch resistant holders. I put all my others in protective sleeves and keep them in storage boxes. How much does it usually cost to reholder one? Not including the shipping. I got a couple more Im gonna send to have graded. May send them all in at the same time.

I remember that. Almost my whole Sac dollar collection came from trips to Wal Mart. I saved everyone I got from there.

Youll complete it one of these days. I have faith in you. I keep faith in myself also and its helped me get way farther along on my goals. Faith and determination goes a long way.

More than likely I will probably leave it as is. But I may break it out. I never know what kind of wild hair is gonna get in me. But it wont be sold anytime soon so it probably wont hurt to leave it be.

Thank you my friend. Ill probably try to do all 3 sets in ms66. Or maybe a set of ms67 without the cameo. Or maybe 2 of each set. One cameo 1965 and one higher grade non cameo 1965. Not sure yet. Its hard to say. There so much bouncing around in my head. These little boxes I have hold 10 coins. So they would be perfect for 2 sets from each year. I got several of them. Prob eventually do all 3 years of SMS.

I have compared it to several of my others. Ive got some ms66 coins with way more hairline scratches and weaker strikes. Not near as much luster. I honestly think the 1934 is a bit under graded. I think it could get a 65 easy after comparing it to the rest. Some of the ms66 coins I have dont deserve the grade they got in my opinion. Some should be 64 or 65s.

If a person could do one coin at a time and drag it out a few months. Do you reckon you could do a 65 cameo set for around $900 or less. I would save a little out of eack check and get 1 coin at a time. Maybe 1 a month or every 2 months. Been thinking about taking a small break on the GWs unless a good deal comes around on one. I would like to eventually do all 3 SMS sets in cameo. I said earlier I was gonna get all the GWs I can. Im still really undecided. Kinda like to take a small break.
