  1. Sometimes it takes a while to get them back. I've received my graded coin back 3 weeks before my gov packaging before.
  2. That was a hard lick. That's probably why that guy wouldn't let you take it apart. Sad people will do anything to crook people anymore. I'd rather be poor than have to stoop to those levels. At least I would still have my conscience.
  3. That's what I figured. Probably all been found already.
  4. I been working on them. I'm gonna try to get one or two each week and hopefully get them all one day.
  5. I had a couple I like really well send me their business cards. I'm planning on getting all of them I can from them to complete my pre 64 Washington collection. I made a friend on here (Zadok) a promise I am gonna complete it. He didn't ask me to or anything, I just right out promised him. I usually keep my promises if I'm able. He's been very helpful to me and gave me some wonderful advice. His advice is why I decided on GWs. Helps me to complete a goal if I promise someone I will. That way it will keep me at it so I don't lie to them and let them down. And those 2 dealers have got some of the best prices I've seen on GWs. And nice looking ones also. I figured I can get a good chunk of them from those two. I just dread it when I gotta get my key dates.
  6. When I find a good dealer on Ebay I usually visit their store online.
  7. I found a couple good dealers on there that I been getting my Washington quarters from. Had to sort thru piles of high inflated priced coins to find them though. I'm sure there are a handful more but I found these guys and didn't have to look much more. They got some nice ones for the grade.
  8. Aint that the truth. I've seen blast white pre 64 quarters on Ebay from a seller for $35 and the very same quarter, same grade, and everything. Blast white from another seller for $80. I understand there are factors such as toning and certain holders and things that can make the price fluctuate but I compared common blast white coins with not very much different characteristics to compare prices. Some sellers are way to high on coins and some are reasonable. Thats just one example. Ive looked at 1000s of coins on there and the prices are all over the place. As GoldFinger1969 mentioned I've got some very nice coins from Great Collections at some very good prices. Most of the time I get out bidded on GC, but I've also scored some very nice coins cheap. For way less than I could get the same coin off Ebay.
  9. I'm no expert at all but wanna try my opinion out. It looks like it's plated. The color don't look right to me. Or it's brass or something. I've been wrong before though. Don't take my opinion to heart. Like I said I'm definitely not qualified to make an assessment.
  10. Fake I'm gonna say. Never know though. But I'd say someone is stamping the privy mark on them. Just my opinion.
  11. Esty would be a a wonderful site for him. Here is an example of one of his post. This is me talking just to give you an example of what he does. Instead of posting 1 picture he would post several and most would be the same angle. Then he would post little videos of him holding it in the light. Here's the example: SMS Satin matte special proof. Only 3 known(maybe more just an example) " Look at the serif turning backward." Picture "Look at the satin finish dancing in the light" Video and 8 more pictures: " Look at the die polishing marks around the 7" 10 more of the same picture and 3 more videos : And so on and on. Every coin he posted was some kind of rare SMS coin with only few known examples. In reality they was just ordinary common coins. And he wouldn't listen to the experts on here. I'm no expert myself but I got enough sense to listen to these guys. Most of these guys write books and do this stuff for a living. Been collecting for years. They know what they are talking about. They do get one here and there that won't listen to them. And get mad when they shatter their dream of having a rare valuable coin. And Ratzie33 was one of them. Only every other coin he found was rare. He got to where people started ignoring his post. Poor guy wouldn't let no one help him.
  12. Ratzie33 was something else. He would take an ordinary coin and brag it up like it was some kind of special coin and everyone telling him better. Everyone would try to help him but he would ignore the help and post a hundred pictures and videos of it thinking it would change everyone's minds. Then he got a little bit mean there at last and I think he may have got banned. He got really mad at me over me joking around with him a little. Can't remember exactly what he said but it didn't bother me none. I got very thick skin. One of the most easy going people you will ever meet. Takes a whole lot to get to me. But he broke the rules of the site and got the boot.
  13. Thank you ma'am. I very much appreciate your time. Have a wonderful day.
  14. That was the very first purchase I made to the US Mint.
  15. Here's another Washington for the collection. Not a good photo taker. Can't capture the true beauty of it. MS67
  16. Those are beautiful. I ended up getting one from the mint when they had them.
  17. That would be heart breaking. It's very sad there's people who will do that to others. I'm so glad I'm not like that. I just don't have the heart to do people like that. I care about others to much to hurt them or take advantage of them. I'd rather be broke than to have to get money that way.
  18. Thank you all for the replies. It's truly appreciated. I'll see what she looks like when she arrives. Hopefully it's a beauty
  19. I'll keep everyone updated when it comes in.
