  1. there isn't any difference between ''light'' motto and ''heavy'' motto 1934 quarters until au 50 and better.....lowest grade is 6 bucks same as ''heavy'' motto. The difference being the w in the ''in god we trust'' has a defined appearance and the letter has an even appearance where the middle of the letter is even with the sides....light motto quarters are worth more but at better grades that ''w' has a smaller middle....Yours is a light motto but in bad shape judging by the pix.

  6. Just throwing this out there to the op, Burnished coins are called ''satin'' as well.......I agree bullion coins have gotten better in appearance.........to the point where a mint mark is the notable difference in coins.....as for worthiness?! Hell sellers are getting crazy money for where a coin is made and with zero discernible difference 2015 p ase's and the emergency philly stuff.....I managed a 2016 ''west point mint hoard'' but that coin is graded with a engraved side edge.

  9. To some it’s a passion others business. To me and I’m being brutally honest here it’s a pastime better than drinking or gambling.
  10. Thought it was silver. Info from the mint web.
  11. 20,000 coins and the op wants to get one of ‘em graded. Either way they are selling. 3 to 5 times over the mint price. All you’re doing is spending money. IMO just like I did with my quarters.
  12. I submitted under “mint error “ simply because of double die in the motto of one of the coins. It’s my submission not yours. Take a pill
  13. Thread?! Value?! Huh, and I thought coins had the only value..............
  14. Declaring a coins value before it gets graded..........boggles the mind........face value is out of the question I guess...
  15. Even 450 is a lot of money for a coin that isn't even in the sellers hand yet......if they need money that bad, jeeeeeeesh.....I'm happy with my 10 dollar privy 75 quarter....
  16. They shipped mine ....but I didn't receive a tracking number.....should I have?
