  1. Read this at todays CPG/Grey Sheet newsletter. There is hope for those of us that have below MS coins. Maybe someday! From the Pogue Collection.
  2. Only 1 @MS67+ (value $30ea.) 1,832 @MS67 (value $24ea.) If I had any that would possibly grade out at MS67 or higher, i would be tempted to get them graded.

  7. Last year I fell in love with this 1965 Washington Quarter. Thought for sure it would be graded MS65 or better. Nope, it was returned no grade as I had marked MS minimum grade on the sub form. I was confused and sent it back asking for a minimum grade. It was graded XF45. I have kept that coin to remind me of that newbie mistake.

  9. After taking the pick, tap on it and a cropping tool pops up. Bring the edges in as close to the coin as possible and save.

I'm going to start my own TPG for damaged coins.The Modwriter scale would use the following negative grades from lowest to highest: revolting -20, hideous -30, fugly -40, disfigured -50, awful -60, and the highest grade would be unsightly, a U -70. I would grade this dime a D-50. Disfigured Negative 50. My grading fees would be $1.00 per coin. No postal insurance required, just put em in a #10 envelope and mail them to me. 😎
  19. Im surprised that it graded at MS65 without full steps. It must be a really good looking nickel. Following in hopes to see a picture.
