  1. I am thinking like most. i have most of the whitman folers for each denomination full back to the mid 1800's. Most would call these collector coins complet sets that most will never want. but i ahve collected them over time. I think my main focus theze days are on Indian Cents and Buffanlo's. then just about any early Proof i can cme across that i can afford......
  2. I have the same issue she loves proof Indian cents!! oh my goodness when they get the deep colors she cant keep her hands off of them... i am telling her honey we cant afford those but she strill gets them.............

  5. So were they lying when they said only 160K for the product availability? i was able to get my limit ..........I certainaly am not going to buy one of those ADVANCED releases for $400 that would be the end of that!
  6. So yet again the US Mint has release a low population silver American Eagle with a production linit of 160,000. so why is it that last night i saw on the TV those hucksters already selling the "ADVANCED" releases for $400. WTF how many did these guys pick up? how many of the 160K did they already give out before the "Collectors" even had a chance to get them... Keep this up and i am pretty sure that i will not be in line for these anymore.
  7. well baack in the 70's and old guy named Redfield died.. the story goes that he hid almost a half a million dollars in his walls. when this hoard was found they decided to put them all in these paramount plastic holders. kinda like when they found all of the GSA dollars. anyway they put them in these holders and sold them. most i am sure arnt in these holders anymore. i dont give them any special premium just becasue some old guy hid them in his house walls. geesh just look through my house and you will findcoins hidden every wheere... hahahah maybe i should put them in a holder and sell them as "JT's hoard" would you give me any extra?

  21. Bill is right. the only Bi-Centinial coins worth money are the ultra high grade ones.. They made these in the millions and even non collectors kept them. you may be ablr to get a couple of dollars but that is about it.
