Greenstang got a reaction from Mr.Bill347 in 2010 Sacagawea dollar coin,1964 dime, 2011 D dime
The 1964 dime is 90% silver and worth keeping.
The other two are just spenders.

Greenstang got a reaction from Mohawk in 1989 penny?? Feedback
All the copper plating has been removed leaving the zinc core which will probably rot away.

Greenstang got a reaction from Alex in PA. in 1995 penny ticker Rim
I think you paid $1.49 too much for a damaged coin.
The initials are the right size.

Greenstang got a reaction from Coinbuf in Ddr, cuds, or other
That isn’t a cud, a cud involves the rim. What you have are called a Die Chips.
Also indicate where you see DDR, it looks like an ordinary cent.
Correct typo

Greenstang got a reaction from Mr.Bill347 in 2021 P Roosevelt Dime: Is this an example of a "strike through"? two indentations on the jugular that looks like a vampire bat bite
Welcome to the Forum
Those are not a struck through, they are bag marks from the edges of other coins caused when they were transported in bulk bags, hence the term “ bag marks”

Greenstang got a reaction from James Zyskowski in 1991 penny ?
I agree
We see these from time to time on the forum. Just a cent that has been plated.
They are actually considered damage.
-

Greenstang got a reaction from Mohawk in 2016 P light on the bottom edge
There’s not much of a premium for minor Grease Filled Dies, they are just too common, although some one who collects this sort of thing might give you a dollar or so. Generally it has to be at least 75% filled to have any substantial value.
-
Greenstang got a reaction from Cresencio in 1953 D penny inquiry?
Nothing special. It’s value is in the copper.

Greenstang got a reaction from kellyt in Scales - what’s a good coin scale
Whatever scale you get, make sure it reads to at least two decimal points.
One decimal point is not good enough for coins.

Split Plate Doubling where the copper plating has split exposing the zinc core.

Greenstang got a reaction from Alex in PA. in is this an UK or USA coin
Looks like a 1775 contemporary counterfeit. Not sure what the denticles are about.
Perhaps someone with more knowledge can add to it.
PS- Have asked a mod to move this posting to a more appropriate forum. This is the Registry Forum.

Greenstang got a reaction from GBrad in 73d penny questions

What you are describing as extra letters and numbers simply can't happen during the striking o a coin. (With the rare exception of a dropped letter) .
The devices on a die are pemanently engraved in the striking die so these are the only letters, numbers that will show up on the coin.
What you have is just damage that is causing Pareidolia. (A term we use for seeing something that isn't there).
