Yes, every time I think about some of the things I have sold, I could kick myself.

I kept track of the owners of a few coins - and have slowly been buying back a coin - here and there.

The Barber community is still fairly small, and the longer I collect, the more I realize where things are hidden away in collections - and who has what duplicates.

I had a really choice AU 58 of the 93/92 Overdate Dime in AU 58 that CAC'd. I know the current owner - and he'll be buried with his collection. He never sells anything. Can't blame him really.

I decided that it was time I added the overdate back to my set... and picked this one up this evening at the Long Beach Heritage auction.

I enlarged the "3" the size of my hand - its the overdate alright !!

I hardly ever get onto eBay - looking for Halves anyway.

As I only need three upgrades to finish my set off in XF-AU -

I have almost given up locating the three coins I need.

Today - a newly listed 1913-P stared me in the face when I

    typed in the date in the Search Box....{ I have a nice VF 30 }

I never thought I'd get so excited about getting this date in XF/AU !!

Nice coins, all. I especially like the Dime. I know Paesan likes the

Variety Quarter. Great type coins. Thanks for sharing.

I am a bit remiss in not having posted more of my newer images.

    Sorry about that ...

I love the coin, but what I meant by saying I'd like to see in "in hand" ,

    I meant "MY" hand....lol.

When you have a second, would love to see the Reverse as well.

I wish I had been in Las Vegas to examine all the Simpson Dimes.

My friend got some great coins, and I especially liked the 1903-S

    which completed his collection.

Catbert .... The half dozen coins I bought the other night at the Legend

Auction came to just over $60K. I should be so lucky to be able to buy

those for myself. I was underbidder on the 01-S. I was given a wide latitude

in bidding and did not want to over extend my friend financially.

If I had the resources, I'd be putting together a nice Proof collection of Dimes.

I only have a couple in 64+ and they are just beautiful. I'm very fussy about

how they are toned. Not all proofs are as nice as the few I own. The complete

set recently auctioned at Legend opened at $60K, no one bid on it. Talk about

    temptation !!! lol

My latest Dime set is a little nicer than my previous sets ... I need to upgrade a couple

to AU 53-58.... But this set has many more gem MS coins than the previous two had.

My Date Set of Dimes are all MS... The more pricier coins are for the most part 55-58's.

    The 96-O & 96-S are XF's...as are the 00-O and the 03-S.

My friend for whom I have been bidding is the owner of the SROTAG Collection.

You should also check out his Barber Quarters and Halves. He's ranked # 2 on

    the 25c & 50c sets. He is # 1 on the Dimes.

My enjoyment with his coins is I get to look at them, study them, and decide which ones

should be sent to upgrade ( regrade ) ... Which ones should go to CAC .... Finally, which ones

need to be replaced. The insurance in shipping is enough to choke a horse.

More goodies are on their way....FUN has quite a few coins we are after.
