Probably the nicest 1903-S Dime in existence...
I bid on this in the Legend Las Vegas sale last night
as my friend was unable to bid in person.
If you have not checked out the Barber Thread as of late,
I recommend that you do... lots of newer entries...
-
I have been helping out a friend - reviewing his collection - sending coins
back to the TPG for regrade - some coins being sent to CAC for their
approval - some coins being sold off to friends - last night, however
was the first time I had the honor {?} of bidding for my friend in Legend's
Las Vegas auction.
I secured a nice group for him, and his collection of Dimes is now complete
with the addition of the 1903-S Dime - PCGS 67 CAC - Ex: Simpson....
The coin is breathtaking.
There are another five [5] more Dimes I need to post.
I don't want anything competing with the 03-S images - yet.

Secure Plus Images.... All PCGS coins sent in for reholdering - as the plastic was all scratched up ...
My only Dime Submission... MS 64.....
The rest are Halves... many have already been upgraded. Some will stay in the collection ... some will be at FUN for anyone who has interest.
My favorite Halves....

I have looked for a nice MS example of the 91-S Quarter for some time.
I just sold off my MS 61 - it did nothing for me.
I think you found yourself a real "Keeper" !!

Really like the Seated Dime.
Great type coin.

I bought this from a friend who was selling off his Buffalos...
the date is all that interested me... its my Mom's birth year !

I have been helping out a friend with his collection and recently
he pulled the trigger on this beauty..
He doesn't have the time to post to the Forums, but as I am handling
his coins - sending to TPG's for possible regrades - to CAC for beans -
and his duplicates to auction houses for resale.
I spotted this coin in HA - end of auction available coins. He liked it
as well, and now owns it. I have his lower graded coin at PCGS for
a possible regrade.

A newp for the Quarter set ....

A newp [ upgrade for my XF 45 ] that I found last night on a friend's site.
My first set that I ended up selling in 2011 - had an AU 58 as well, it was
a very dark, yet very original coin.

Just picked this up, it was an MS 63, sent it back for regrade,
and it was bumped to a 64.
Got to post this to Photobucket.... Images too large.
These are the PCGS Scans Secure Plus Service provides.

Well, over 200,000 hits on this Thread - 1800+ posts ....
Even I am amazed its gone on so long.
Here are a couple of coins belonging to a friend.
When Gene Gardner retires his Halves, my friend,
SROTAG, slips into the # 2 spot right behind another
good friend, Dr. & Mrs. Peter Shireman 's collection.

A couple of things I received from a friend who is selling his duplicates:
They are consigned to auction... can't say where as that would be SPAM !!
Nice coins are worth seeing, however !!
See... I didn't disappoint - did I ?

Spotted this and knew I had to upgrade my AU 55.....
( once again, image too large ) off to Photobucket...

One of my favorite dates - 58's are few and far between.
My 1st set only had a 53 ... now this set has a 53, 55 & this 58.
-
Minor upgrade - but you have no idea how hard its been to locate an AU 58
of an 1909 Phila Dime !!
-
Not sure if this is the right size ( probably not,
)
A minor upgrade for my Quarter collection:
