Just got these 5 coins back from NGC. My first coin submission for grading.
-
I have had this one for a while, but while doing inventory realized I had never imaged it. Here are the recent pics.
-
Picked up a tiny Italian copper. The "goo" around the reverse edge is the silly PCGS gasket. Those things are really annoying on small coins.

Extremely happy with a type coin I purchased from rexcat. Everything went smoothly, and Paul was very accommodating to my schedule around the holidays. Thanks!
-
I have wanted one of these for a long time, and a Paris Mint 2006 restrike fit my budget. Finally picked this one up about a week ago.

Finished out my SLQ type set examples with this beauty from board member rexcat. He has a few more type set coins for sell in the BST, but I was super happy to get this one. The general consensus in the "GUESS THE GRADE" thread for this one was that it may be numerically under-graded a bit, and the FH designation was a bit contentious. There will be no cracking though. She'll be chilling in my type set for quite a while...

Huge thank you to rexcat (Paul B) for a beautiful new type coin. Everything went smoothly, and Paul is very easy to deal with.

This type-set upgrade came today. I found the colors quite attractive.

Brandon - I like it! Is it copper or brass?
Hi Dan, thanks. It is gilt bronze.

Picked up a nice example of a more difficult to find So-called-dollar. Lots of scuffs on the holder -- I need to give it a buffing.
-
Picked up a very pretty new french medal.
-
Valdas, I was bidding on those two against you. I figured it was you who was bidding, so I stopped.
Nice newps. I especially like the 50C.

New type coin:

Picked up this one for a scant $60. Lovely old copper piece!

This one's from today's DNW medal sale. Prior Park, Bath in silver (51mm) by T. Halliday c.1835.
FANTASTIC medal Bob!! (thumbs u

Looked almost 2 dang years for this one. This is only a two year type coin, minted in years 1955 and 1965. This 1965 coin was minted in only 100,000 pieces, as compared to the much more common 1955 piece minted in a quantity of 1.5 million coins.

I already have this So-Called-Dollar in brass (HK-453), but I picked up this nickel version as well (HK-454). I really dig this Sesquicentennial design.
-
Two newest coins.
-
Maybe I need an intervention? This is my 4th example (3rd graded) of this coin.

Bob, that's a beautiful new Conder!

Jason, I have no idea. I thought it was a sure lock min 67 when I submitted it. It's insanely clean and lustrous.![(shrug)](//content.invisioncic.com/r266626/emoticons/confused-smiley-013.gif.2fdadf84da200a1dc7bd2aa1b4444757.gif)
