  1. If I won a large amount, I would give away much of my collection and start fresh buying only a few coins. I would travel to as many of the nice coin shows as possible and enjoy seeing some of the cool stuff out there.
  2. These were just listed on Great Collections. They will be posting more images. Feel free to contact me with any questions. The 1857 Flying Eagle is a pretty special coin. Tough to find in any grade. 1532098 1857 Flying Eagle Cent Obverse Die Clash w/ $20, FS-403 PCGS VF-35 Currently Selling 1532099 1834 Capped Bust Dime JR-5 Large 4 PCGS Genuine AU Details Currently Selling 1532100 1839-O Seated Liberty Dime No Drapery, Huge O FS-502, F-108 PCGS Genuine XF Details Currently Selling 1532101 1849-O Seated Liberty Dime F-103c Small O PCGS Genuine AU Details Currently Selling 1532102 1942/1 Mercury Dime Overdate FS-101 PCGS Genuine XF Details
  3. Let me put it this way. If every member on this site were to use the US coin forum to advertise, what would it be like here?
  4. I'll guess you posted that on the ASK NGC forum. A mod has to review the question before others can see the thread.
  5. That is strange. A mill or lathe would leave circular marks. I think we are seeing the insert already in the coin.
  6. PCI had this one at 64. PCGS just gave it 65.
  7. I started to build a set of the First Lady gold coins. After a few years, I did the math. I could not believe what it was going to cost to keep going and complete the set. I gave up. One other story. Many years ago, I started a Matte Proof Lincoln set. I kept waiting on the 1909 VDB. It was the last coin I needed. Watched the price of the coin more than double over the years and never bought the coin.
  8. I bought this one 20 something years ago in an old ACG holder as PF-64. I knew it was better. PCGS just gave it PR-66 RB. It's fun to find something in your collection that come back and pays you.
