  1. We were on Seated half dollars not dimes. We need a Seated half or something dated 1859.
  2. There are ways to use power tools but it's not worth the cost to set up for it. Some folks get in trouble using polishing wheels. The speed and the pressure create heat. It's not hard to melt plastic using the wrong process. I just hand polish.
  3. I have 6 rolls of these from bags I searched, years ago. Many were well struck AU. It was fun finding them but very little value today.
  4. It looks like a normal quarter to me. Not seeing anything special.
  5. PLASTX does a good job on minor stuff but it takes a bit of time to polish the slab by hand.
  6. I never thought of the problems that fake US coins could create in a different country. Folks there may not be able to spot a fake as easy as those in the US. Even those in the US may not be aware of the changes in dies over the past 100+ years. The look of the OP fake has been around for many years and Lincolns image is really poor.
  7. It's a well known fake. This is what it should look like.
  8. I believe that many of the stupid listings are posted by folks that don't even know how stupid it is. It's hard to know who is scamming and who is just stupid. Sometimes you hear of an honest seller removing a listing after a polite message.
  9. It's easy to spend a lot on fees. So many options that add up quick. As a normal, I won't have anything graded that's worth under $300. I sometimes break that rule with coins that will be hard to sell as raw.
