  1. Thanks for all your incites for this coin. Just thought it was very interesting. Sorry for the poor-quality lighting. Thanks again.
  2. I took some better close-up of the break. You can see it goes top to bottom also towards the outside, making a circle.
  3. I found this interesting 1994 Lincoln in almost perfect condition. It has what I think is a die crack in his head. It starts at his collar and goes to the top of his head. Just would like the Pro's thoughts. I know it's difficult through pictures, but what do you think the grade may be on the coin. Thanks
  4. The coin does have the raised rim as a normal penny would have. I came across this in a roll of pennies, so I don't have the other piece that may go with it. I really can't see how someone can keep the rim intact, take the inside out, and still have a contour towards the inside. I don't see any cut makes at all on it. It is a very interesting piece to say the least. A few of years ago I did find a two-sided nickel, but I could see where the laser had cut the edge. I still have it of course.😊 Thanks for the video, very interesting. In the video I noticed when he cut out the face there are round marks left on the inside from the knife cut. On my coin, the lines are fine and only horizontal, not touching the rim. Is it still possible cut the insde out like this?
  5. I came across this one in a roll from a bank. I believe it may be a slug but before I discard it, I wanted to run it by the experts. I did put a magnet on it and it is steel or zinc. I looked into how the process works in the mint and don't see how one side could be blank. Love your thoughts on it. Thank you ahead of time.
  6. Thank you GBrad for that info I have Guardhouse UPVC would they be the same as the SAFLIP ? I also have the do it yourself slabs, just as good also? I don't want to ruin the coin by doing something that cause a problem with it. Thanks again.
  7. Thanks JJK, I'll take your advise and I'll leave my money in my wallet then. You know "a penny save is a penny earned" 😀
  8. Thanks JKK, I've already put it in a holder to protect it. Do you think I should send it in to be graded and so it's in a sealed capsule?
  9. Thank you all for your incite to this coin. It helps us rookies with all the information you share. I'll put this one away and maybe one day it may be worth something to someone, who knows maybe even sooner. Thanks again
  10. Thanks for all of you input with this one. I'm certainly going top hang on to it. By the sounds of it, in a few years it may be worth something to someone. Maybe sooner, who knows. Thanks again It's fun finding something different for sure.
  11. I'm no pro but I think that if you look closely at the pictures you can definitely see the etching lines from the die on the obverse. There's isn't anything that even remotely suggests gluing two coins together.
  12. Conder101, thanks for that knowledge, it's very informative I will definitely stow it away
  13. Thanks Fenntucky Mike, I'll stick it in a holder for later years
  14. Thanks I think it's unusual, isn't it? I think I had better save this one.
