Popular Post Ryan S.
I can't help but notice how many of these new purchases are $20 Gold pieces.....Great time to be buying them! For an MS-63 Saint to be trading so close to spot is remarkable. Here is one of my newest additions to the hoard. She was listed under the "Statehood Quarters" category on fleaBay with a very reasonable price to go along with it. I've been wanting this particular "semi-semi-key" date for quite a while and was pleased to get it in MS-65+. Actually they become very rare in grades higher than mine.....not many around. kidrootbeer
18.11 CBH I think I know what happened to it, and what happened to it happened over and over... oddly, I had a high grade 181.7 CBH which had edge lettering tailing off into flat places in two places 180 degrees opposite of each other, and those flat places looked just like this

Popular Post R and C Numismatics
Well, until my next piece comes in this 1897 S $20 Liberty NGC MS63PL is my most recent acquisition. The coin should really be a DPL as it is much better looking in person than the photo suggests. The photo also highlights every scratch on the coin and on the slab. Given the toning, when I first saw it I thought it was a D. I was surprised to see it's a P. Every now and then you find something like that. Here's a D of mine (NGC MS67FT) that has P mint toning... In any case, yours is a good looking Newp. rrantique, leeg and robec1347

physics-fan3.14
I've seen fakes of most of those before, but I've never seen a fake 1986 Statue of Liberty dollar. Weird. Just wondering, why did you buy these fakes?
A.Phillips
Perhaps he is trying to post here to tell us that he is selling the fake coins on ebay. It's quite interesting to see that Russian (ebay seller) is telling the truth that the coins are fake.
