Just some quick pics with a little story. I didn't hook up the laptop to make sure they were in perfect focus, I didn't have my contact in, just looking through the viewfinder!

 

Anyhow, I've talked about these coins on a couple of occasions but not sure if I've ever posted the pictures.

 

I actually purchased both of these for the tidy sum of $1. I spied them on the till of a grocery store worker. I offered her $5 each sometime around 1985, I wasn't sure what they were worth. She took my ten, gave me the two coins and handed me $9 in change. I told her to keep the change and she said, why, they're just a dollar!!
