Texas Richard and Larry in AZ, both excellent coins. Richard, I am so enthused with Commemoratives now, love the posts. Larry - Wow.
Excellent additions.

I would say you did just fine with that one Bobby. Good deal.
The more and more I look at and photo the Jefferson nickel the more I am coming to like them.

Larry and Winston, nice Large Cents both.
Larry, I particularly like yours mainly because I also have an 1853 which was my first lesson in "artificial coloring." Some Bozo dipped it years ago apparently. It is posted in the TPG Dipping post on Tangents. ARRRGGGGHHHH.
Oh well,

Ron,
Here is your image. I copied it to Photobucket and then copied and pasted here.

A lot of folks on here use Photobucket which is free. You can upload pictures to that site from your hard drive and then copy and past the IMG Code below the picture to these message boxes. The IMG Code is the last of four choices for picture formats that you will see under each image.

Hey there Richard,
That is a nice looking Double Eagle. I really like the looks of it with those images, the color/tone of the gold is great. I bet it does have some history, but the good thing is now it is yours. Congratulations.

Fantastic Bruce, good start and a wonderful looking coin/image.

I may be a born Texan, and I may currently be in West Texas, but I outsmarted them all and only raised it by $5.00 against myself. I wanted to hear the guy yell yupppp one more time. He was a big cowboy and it sounded neat. Plus I was worried about those folks that were bidding so much wasted money on MS 66 Morgans graded by XYZ companies. Heck, I could tell they were pro's and didn't want them to get my IHCs.
I also saved those folks a lot of money by picking up a 1961 mint set for $7.00, I could tell they were having trouble with their calculators trying to figure out how much to bid.

Thanks for the extra effort on the image, but it is a bit too much. The overdate is mostly visible only at the base of the one. (dangerous photography there ibyandsellsmith)
Here are the other two IHCs I picked up. They were raw of course and nobody was interested. It is nice when you bid against yourself.

Thanks guys, the MOrgan is lacking in lustre sorry to say, but is good and clean mostly.
I also picked up a few IHCs. This 1906 IHC is an overdate which is most clear on the 1, but unfortunately my camera skills are not that good too really get a shot of it. Will try somemore, but it is there to the south of the base of the one.

A Toned 1988 Maple Leaf - Effects from sitting in a desk drawer for several years apparently. The nearly vertical lines are not scratches or wipe marks.

Here is a 1903 Morgan I picked up raw this morning.
Grade opinions please.

Mike, Dwaine, MM and Larry, Nice Seated Libertys and Morgans all. (thumbs u
Here is an 1843 Seated Liberty which was identified as having "glue residue". My question is whether the dark lines on the obverse is what they were referring to or would it have been something else. Can it be conserved to original condition perhaps?

Dwaine,
That is a nice looking 1830 Cent. Another good coin.

I acquired my first ASE today.
1993 Opinions on NT or AT?

Larry,
Just wanted to inject something here, that 1859 O Seated Liberty is an excellent looking coin. I have two 1859 0's both of one AU and one MS both with their original lustre, but yours is so much more attractive IMO. Great looking originality, with character and appeal. Another example of where "bright" is not always better in the eyes of some.

Here is an 1859 D Half Eagle

Richard and Lee - Both nice acquisitions. Two of my favorites, Double Eagle and a Nice Lincoln.

Ziggy,
Nice Seated Dime, is that a Die Crack on the obverse extending diagonally up from the date? Also, I viewed your homepage and like your collection site including the photos and write ups you have included.
Where abouts in the Hill Country? My folks used to live in Horseshoe Bay.

Well it looks good in my book. (thumbs up
