Irvin,
Nice one, Like the looks of it and the relief appearance.
Also, wanted to post an updated pic of the 1819/8 Large Cent I acquired from Zach. It is brighter and thus shows how the true color/tone of the coin better. Thanks again Zach.

All very nice and the clouds in addition to the semi darkness of the sky below the clouds and above the structure caught my eye. Not a gloomy scene but one with some feeling in my opinion. Something about it.

Something about the Washington Quarters has got me I think. Two new acquisitions this evening from a fellow member here.
Thank you very much Carl.

I don't have a picture to post yet but wanted to share what could make my Friday tomorrow one of those beautiful days. I submitted several of my Washington Quarters to NGC last month and they are now in Quality Control. Confirmed today that the 1934 is a 1934 D Large D, Medium Motto. Apparently by what I can tell NGC has Graded 4 highest being MS 65 and PCGS has graded only 3. Perhaps the spirit of George is looking down upon me in a favorable way.

Problem or no problem I like that 1839 Dime. And that's a nice 2 1/2 Dollar as well.

Well I am definitely going to take a closer more time consuming look, but just first glance through your set, it is outstanding. You have some very nice, high graded Lincolns in there and some impressive Pop stats. What a slide show of Lincolns that is. I look forward to looking more closely.
Very impressive to say the least.
I would recommend to others to definitely take a look.

There was actually a Pinches one on Ebay the day that I found the Royal Mint one as well. I stopped bidding on the Pinches after I spoke with the seller of the Royal Mint one on the phone (a dealer). I called with questions and he answered them and was very kind so I went that direction.
I think they were both 63 mm is size.

Yarm,
That one is interesting. What was the purpose of the medal being issued.
I will keep my eye out for the Waterloo. I will see if the dealer I got this that one from has any access to others.

Well, I was going through more of my Father's collection and found some medals and tokens. This was one of the nicer ones and low and behold it is a Cathedral.
A little history.
The Cathedral Church of St. John The Divinity of New York City.
It is the mother church of the Episcopal Diocese of New York and the seat of its Bishop. Originally chartered in 1873. Designed after a contest between 68 architects. 1956 Martin Luther King preaches for the second anniversary of Brown versus Board of Education. In 1954 The Great Organ expands from 5000 to 8035 pipes. The state trumpets are placed 500 feet from the organ console. 1074 Duke Ellingtons funeral attended by 12,500 Mourners. 1976 Ravi Shankar performs an all night concert of Ragas. Big Bird and the Muppets pay tribute to creator Jim Henson at his services. 1993 Memorial services for Dizzie Gillespie. 1997, 14,000 attend service for Princess Diana. 2001 hundreds spontaneously take refuge at the Cathedral following the attacks.
