  1. It ain't a 1970 No S dime either. I see a 1975 P (no mintmark) dime.
  2. I seen this post the other day but I got sidetracked or nowadays it's considered sometimers. Lol I'm in! Thanks for the chance! Btw, NGC use to have some great weekly trivia contests back in the day. Those were fun and got a lot of participation.
  3. Looks like an rpm to me also. They aren't much for value but cool to keep.
  4. Well I could be wrong, but it looks like someone was playing with some casting. I'm thinking it's not real. Or it's just too damaged to guess.
  5. I'm not seeing anything that looks off to me.
  6. This is what I have updated to. I'm done with the rest of them!
  7. SELF EDIT: No comment for now. You have left off the most important part of your post. What made you arrive at your opinion? Well some toning throws me off as I'm not an expert in this area. The vibrant colors are what makes me think AT. Of course, toning is even more harder for me to determine when I can only see a small part of a coin. I'm starting to presume that the majority of your posts are suppose to be directed towards those that are true numismatists and not the average collector. I also presume that is some of the reasons for the responses that you are getting.
  8. I soaked a FEC that I have with a little pvc on it in olive oil for 10 months. Never really did much of anything.
  9. I don't care how old you are, I hate moving anytime. Lol
  10. If you're not going to post full pics, then the colors are AT to me and so is the other coin. That's my guess and it stands until I see the whole coin. Lol
  11. Well I have found with some members that the "Ignore" button works very well. Unless you just like reading the abuse! Lol
  12. Well I try my best not to get into conflict with people behind a keyboard. I do know that if people would treat each other with respect and respect that everyone has different opinions and learn to accept that, then we wouldn't have soo many conflicts on a forum that is based on knowledge and information.
  13. I've known Jason of these forums for years, long before you came along. Jason has always, that I have seen, contributed to this forum in a positive way.
  14. Yea but as many years as I been collecting and reading coin forums, I've never seen or heard of a mass population of people that buy other countries mint sets. I know there are a few but those numbers wouldn't even come close to U.S. individuals and companies that buy US mint sets. They most likely would never match sales of the US Mint. Good possibility of why their sets cost more. And I would also bet that their mintage numbers are no where close to US mintages either.
  15. I don't see how you can compare prices of Swiss Mint Sets or any other countries mint sets. Your comparing a market of 8.5 million people to 330 million. Then you have to narrow that down to collectors. Not even close!
  16. I hear ya Jason, but we should remember that you will always have that 10% that makes it hard for other people. They eventually get weeded out. I feel the 90% of informative threads that we receive from members makes up for the other.
  17. Ya, a full coin pics will get you better answers.
  18. Maybe so, but in my eyes, the justification doesn't equal the valuation!
  19. Ya I have never been able to see who Likes. I did question this quite some time back after the new software was available and never got a response. Thanks for looking into it Dena!
  20. Now you're getting into the conditions of coin. Toning, in my eyes, doesn't affect the Mint State of the coin unless it gets severe. Once any type of coin starts getting enough environmental damage and the severeness of it starts affecting the coins Mint State is a whole different thing. And the coin isn't considered Mint State anymore.
  21. I hear ya Jason! I was more referring to anything that isn't about PCGS has the grounds for POOF ats. Lol
  22. Hopefully with these new rules and enforcement, we can get back to informative discussions. And as long as we don't get poofed as much as ATS, I think we'll be fine. Lol
  23. I agree with coinbuf and Mark. Mint state is the correct term for coins that are uncirculated which is the condition they left the mint. Besides Errors and Vams, I think anything else is just a collectors liking and not a change in the coins mint state. I also don't believe that color, if you're just referring to toning, can change a coins grade. It might add additional notes, such as a Star or Plus, but not the grade.
