  1. Is AU65 a grade? Nah, I think I'll chalk what I see up to a weak strike. MS65?
  2. Yes, raised in Pennsylvania according to his obituary, which was also linked in the post ATS. Here it is: https://haugheyfuneralhome.com/obituaries/james-michael-marshall Very sad news. I knew he was sick, but it seemed sudden. Rest in Peace Jim. You'll be missed.
  3. I think NGC covers as many, if not more, than anyone else. If you want all your coins certified and graded by NGC, I don't think you'll have any problems unless you get into some really obscure stuff. What kind of coins do you want graded?
  4. I forgot to add, the pics are taken through a 2x2, if that wasn't obvious. If necessary, I'll remove it a re-photograph it.
  5. I've had this coin put away out of sight for a while. I was thinking of selling it and putting the money towards a higher grade slabbed example of the type. When I got it out, it actually looked nicer than I thought. Nothing screams "details" to me, which I halfway expected since I remember getting it cheap at an LCS a few years ago. I have almost no experience trying to grade these though. So I'd greatly appreciate some opinions. Any possibility it's a MS coin? Thanks in advance.
  6. Anicoins is not a respected or well known company.
  7. I'll throw out pf62 as my wild guess. I haven't tried grading proofs of any series much.
  8. My first significant pick up in a couple months. I can't wait to see it in hand. Here are seller's pics:
  9. I also would refer to the darkness on the bottom of the reverse as a stain.
