Now that CAC is holdering coins do they still accept submissions? Also are all the coins they grade getting the green bean? And does that mean, for example, their grading lowers a C grade 64 to an A grade 63 so they can bean it? I have not been paying attention until i saw CACG coins on great collections and they all had the green bean. Thus my guess as to how they grade. Since they now have their own slabs has their original business model of grading ngc and pcgs coins come to an end? Just trying to catch up with the latest twist. Is there any hint of whether our hosts will accept their coins in the registry? Thanks for any information you can provide

I appreciate the way you present your coins in auction. by series and dates makes it much easier to find a particular coin. Best of luck:)

Fair point. I guess I am still stuck in blue books and searching pocket change. I am at the point in my life where i am considering inheritance for my kids equally as much as my joy in filling slots.

In the long run does this hurt or help CAC? I find the whole ordeal to be self centered and not beneficial to the hobby. Does it open the door for a new cac to grade the cac coins and differentiate them in the same way? Can a cac coin get a green bean or a gold bean? Do you automatically assume their coins are green bean certified? As my Uncle Bernie was fond of saying Bless bless what a mess. I feel like like i am tumbling into another rabbit hole. Not very reassuring at all. Not a good look for the hobby as a whole.

Thank you, I wasn't able to find the link earlier. I appreciate it

I added a mercury dime to my collection 1939 67+FB that is only worth 653 points. A total of 9 graded at that grade and only 4 higher. Many of my other dimes have triple and more for the same grade with higher pops. How do I bring this to the attention of whoever is in charge of the point distributions? TYIA

Thanks for the comments everyone. I consigned the raw coins in December and they will be auctioned off in 2 weeks. The graded were inaccessible until last week as I had some work done in my basement. They are still available after I get home next week. If I get no interest they will head to Great Collections sometime in the spring. 🤔

Tom,
If you get Ron's graded set it is a set that is well driven towards top notch. We did a lot of trading and buying back and forth in the days. It was a fun ride and experience!!
Thanks Rick. You did play a big part in that sets upgrades😁😎

Thanks, I just saw another thread here that was about what I was asking about. Very interesting events unfolding now in the coin world.
