  1. If those coins are in holders that can be unscrewed  then take them out and see if they have been damaged. Many times these coins were cleaned or polished while on the bracelet. Go to the research link on your home page and click it and then go to united States Price guide.  If you are uncertain if they have been cleaned which is usually tricky then downgrade what  grade you think the coin might be. If you think uncirculated drop it to au.  Here is a link to help you on your way :)  https://www.ngccoin.com/price-guide/united-states/

The pictures aren't large enough for me so I just made some wild guesses as per grade. Your mileage may differ ;)

    1849AU $350

    1873 xf 275/clear  open 3 closed 3 more valuable

    1925  au $345

get a redbook to help you discern open versus closed three.  Or google it   Good luck

  2. Quarantine has given me the time to organize the mess that I call a collection. As a result I have accumulated upgrades, abandoned collections, loss of interest, orphans, and stragglers a plenty.  I am preparing to ship a batch of coins for auction. But, I wanted to offer them here first.  Add $3 shipping but I will combine multiple purchases to make it easier for both of us:)  I accept PayPal, checks ( from trusted members) and cash. ;)   The price guide is the first number and my asking price is the second. The gold prices were based on gold at $1700 an ounce.  Many of these coins are on the shipping list so will disappear on Tuesday when I ship them off. I hope you find something to fill a hole. Happy hunting :)  Pics available on request

  3. I am downsizing and upgrading at the same time. I know that sounds counterintuitive but that seems to be the path at this time :)  In any case as I was making a list  my collecting buddy asked me to throw a few of his coins on it. So without further ado here is the list from A-Z.  The prices listed are from the price guide and while I would be delighted to get these prices I  will accept offers.  Happy hunting :)  I am not here every day so please be patient if I don't respond immediately. If you are interested in more than one coin I am willing to do a better deal. Buy three coins and I will provide free shipping. Otherwise shipping is $3.  Pictures can be provided but most of these are common in appearance. The 58D washie will be a tricky picture but I will give it a whirl on request. I prefer checks but let's talk :)

  4. well , my prodigious computer skills have revealed themselves to the world again :(   My seller name is tonkatoast.  I chose the name after being exposed and inspired by one while camping. A truly ingenious and simple cast iron device to make toast, pizza, grilled cheese, and other tasty delights over the campfire. I even use it at home over the grill if I crave something a little sloppy and don't want to clean up the grill afterwards :)

  5. Have you contacted the person who sold you the coin?  IF they have any scruples they will work with you. If not, then out them here if they are an eBay seller so we can all learn from your experience. I lost $880 on a 1916s Indian Eagle two months ago. I sent it in to be graded and got the "Not Genuine" tag. So the cost of the coin AND shipping and grading fees added some salt to the wound.  Most of us have paid our dues but some just can't admit it. :)  Good luck in your future acquisitions.

  6. Get a red book and take your time. Pick a denomination or collection and do a quick research of it. For example. mercury dimes see if the 16D is  there. Lesser dates are 21 and 21D and 42/1 . The rest you should know at a quick glimpse if they are "special" or in terrific shape. Take your time to get familiar with each set and then decide how to get rid of it and not feel ripped off. eBay is the great equalizer but you will have to do some work selling on that platform. If you aren't strapped for cash then pace your self. You might even get the coin bug like your Dad :)    Good luck and have some fun
