  1. Yes,we will , My daughter says duck sauce in the south is imposable to find. I would be willing to trade for some 90-94 Morgan's.
  2. I will be going through bama on Saturday 278 to 65 I don't have any spring rolles but I brought some Duck Sauce for my daughter in Tenn.
  3. Yes JB ,,it is hard to say for sure the hair and the right wing looks worn but it could be the photo.
  4. There may be some oil on the 06 from the mint packaging and it is making the coin look bad....... Or not LOL.... and yes the whole 2006 to 2010 SMS is a pain in the butt if you ask me. Trying to find a regular strike coin for my set is difficult everything comes up SMS
  5. Sorry no error here. You may want to check out some error sites to compare a coin you find. If it is not brand new like a 2022 chance is are it will be in there records. https://www.ngccoin.com/variety-plus/ http://www.varietyvista.com/index.htm
  6. I agree it is just contact marks . Not a error.. but keep looking ya never know.
  7. The questionable SMS. Maybe it was getting near the end of the die's sand blasted finish. I is just not as burnished looking as some of my other SMS coins.
  8. I do not think the coin I picked up on Friday is a SMS or Satin Finish 2006 D coin. You can see it on my JP Nickel thread.
  9. Gold like Copper is way hard to tell anything from pictures Jo
  10. I have to say some coins will be a lower price on the NGC site if it has not been updated. On the far left of the chart near the date it shows the last updated price. Some coins can be quite old prices.
  11. It is MD with Die Erosion and a lot of handling in my opinion.
  12. Thanks guys I do like a deal. Most of the high end stuff was in the cases. I almost missed these coins they were in a plastic tub on a shelf with a bunch of signed state Quarters and some Kennedy Half's. They are not worth a lot of money but they are worth it to me for my collection. Actually the Bison retail is not to bad being a 66 it more than cover the cost of all the coins I picked up. I just wish I had enough money to pick up some of the Charlette AU $2.5 and $1 coins he had.
  13. I picked up some Nickels for my set today. This one is graded as a Satin Finish but it sure don't look much different than a regular strike.
  14. I had a chance to stop by one of the shops outside of Charlette NC today . I like to take a look when I am in the area. Got a good deal from the owner I picked up 4 coins for my set $10 each for the D-CAMS and $5 for the other two. I also got a 2009 P and a 2022 D for my blue book. All in all a good shopping day
  15. Thanks for your story Hoghead I have always saved raw coins and never thought of myself as a collector. After putting together my ASE's ,War Nickel set and a few Morgan's I realized I was more of a collector than I thought. I decided to keep working on the Nickel and Morgan's sets. There will always be something new to learn in this hobby for now I am enjoying numismatics in my retirement. This NGC forum is a great place to a part of coin collecting. I am grateful for all the members here that are a part of my journey.
  16. I think the correct term for a MS coin with slight drag marks is called a trayed coin. From being slid across the red, black or blue velvet display tray in a coin draw or display case. I could be wrong it would not be the first or last time.
  17. I have many nickels in my NGC Registry Set that are already in NGC or PCGS holders. When I shop around most of the common ones that list out between $15 to $30 retail can be purchased for under $5 in a slab. So I see no need to send in coins unless they are in the $100 or more range and even then I would rather spend my grading money on a nicer sample coin for my set.
  18. I agree a old proof it looks to be. All my mint sets have low MS quality uncirculated coins and none have FS nickels.......None
  19. This is the dumbest thing I ever heard of. I made this post to show people all the Dan Carr coins available at NE coin for sale. The thread turned into a battle field ? There is no need for this hostility it is just a chat forum. There will always be disagreements no mater who, what, when or where. There is no need for members to leave over something like this. Be respectful to each other and please if a thread bothers you move to another thread not another web site. thanks JP
  20. I was under the impression that Before QA left last year he had been waiting for one to come to the USA to finish his collection. I guess he has it now.
  21. I think there was a 1907 Lincoln for sale at NE. That would fit right in with your 1908
