  1. Yes I have one of those it is a eye clash . On the obverse you may see a line going through the left eye. It is the edge of the step
  2. I had the pleasure of looking at some nice gold dollars a couple of weeks ago for a gentleman . This was one of the nicer ones . I asked if I could take a picture to post here. This sure is a looker. I hope you don't mind this post Roger I thought you might like it...
  3. Thanks for the other pictures, I am not sure it is a FS-502. I do not see the extra line on the top of the S. ??
  4. It is sad that they had to buff some of the coins out for the display. I was able to get some nice ones but these two and two copper plated ones were just worthless.
  5. These cents came out of a old coin display of cents from 38 to 64. Notice anything odd. ? Lol
  6. Welcome,,,,,,,I would not send in these coins. The 1985 is toned in a odd way and it may get a ART Tone Label and the 1968 looks normal and I would need to see the reverse also to guess at it.
  7. I normally look for MS 66 and up. I like this coin because it is a low MS64 and still got the PL designation.
  8. I live in a area of many retired people and I always find good looking old coins in pocket or from local bank rolls. When times are tough or someone passes on the change gets spent or banked.
  9. Not a bad looking pocket change coin for it's age.
  10. Hard to say maybe grease in the die or? The rim is flat It looks like a hard hit took out the ( IN WE ) I would not send it in . If it gets graded as a SMS coin a MS 68 is worth $30 . That wont be worth the grade price.
  11. No it was a nice coin. Not this one.
  12. I see, ................You have to grab them from a file on your phone or pc by clicking the paperclip, choose files .They cant be to big or they will not upload
  13. Ya Lem has some great looking nickels. He has some big registry point coins.
  14. And we all know that this always works. ...................................I know Mike did not say this it is just a funny statement in his quote...
  15. TPG do not grade Nickels very high anyway. MS 66 is a good grade. I think they are scared to grade them any higher.
  16. I get it.. the 10=70 and if I take off the 9. and change it to a 6 then I have all my MS 60 - MS 69 .well that was easy............. BS all day.
  17. It is labeled that way. It could be a PF 70 on a good day or a PF 68 on a bad day ...........Or a very rare S 8661
  18. Ya Mike, Your SP looks to have a different finish? Your coin is from the set and mine looks like the matt finish strike. I must just be the lighting on your coin makes it look different.
  19. October 1st, I have been roll hunting looking for a 2023 D Nickel with no luck. Today at the grocery store I finally got one in change. It is a piece of junk with to many dings to put in my coin folder but at least it made it to the east coast. There will be more.
  20. I think the gold is from oil in the heat sealed cellophane of the mint sets
