  1. If you had a chance to get #1 for under $100 as a raw coin, would you? #2 is a graded example of a 3 legged Buffalo 1937 D
  2. We would always like to see cropped photos of both sides of your coin. Most likely this coin has been “struck through” foreign matter, dust, grease, cloth etc. might be a keeper though.
  3. Late stage die is the proper term . the crack on the pillar is another give-away
  4. Lively discussion guys. I have completed my graded Morgan’s. I have disenrolled from future releases of Eagle,Morgan, Peace. I did get a 2022 Eagle proof, but it won’t be graded.
  5. That’s for sure. All the dealers got the pre releases and over bought. Us average guys had a very difficult 8 minutes of frenzy and for what?
  6. To further qualify what VKurtB is saying. The 21 CC should be worth more than it is due to the extremely limited 8 minute sale.
  7. I agree. I got lucky on my 2021 Morgan it graded an MS69 but I’m a firm believer that MS69 today is not the same as an ms69 20 years ago. as far bad that coin is concerned, I wouldn’t call it special, under the microscope it had pretty lumpy fields and uncrisp devices. You be the judge side by side
  8. IMO, I wouldn’t buy it. You could probably find a nice graded version for the same money.
  9. Yes, we drank the wine at my son’s house.( his wine ), but I asked him if I could have the bottle. He seemed surprised, but agreed. They sell these bottles on EBAy for $45. So I bought a lamp kit, a nice shade and a bright tubular led light bulb. Voila!
  10. I had shown this fine Cabernet wine bottle before. Now it has a bright shiny future .

  12. Both excellent examples Walter. Why wouldn’t you want them in the registry?
  13. First of all it is a 1965 coin, other than that it is a normal lightly circulated coin.
  14. I call them “brass Knickels” I buy fresh uncirculated P,D coins from sellers who buy rolls of them from the mint. They are always pristine (not proof) . I didn’t know there were two positions A and B having to do with the edge incusion placement. They are in a nice innovation album. I won’t get too serious about them but want to get at least uncirculated versions. They cost about $3 for the P,D. Position A- edge lettering reads upside down if the obverse is facing up. Position B - edge lettering reads normally if the obverse is facing up.
  15. It appears Neophyte, that nobody is wanting a 47 coin Buffalo set. Even with all four 1913 issues.all with readable dates. This weekend, it most likely will go back on the shelf!
  16. I buy individual uncirculated new coins. Have every one of them to date.they are usually 2-3 on EBay.
  17. Welcome to the forum. Probably wouldn’t matter as this coin appears to have been harshly cleaned and the coin itself dies not hold great value at around $50 at best . The term used is rotated die.
  18. Nice project and the coins look like proofs!
  19. See my item on Ebay https://www.ebay.com/itm/165637807340?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=T97vizlURgm&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=T97vizlURgm&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  20. Modern coin mart is selling graded versions of the American Liberty coin for $193. By the time you buy it from the mint, pay shipping to you, join NGC, pay shipping to NGC, pay grading fees, pay upgraded holder fees, handling fees and return shipping, you’d be way beyond that number.
