  1. EagleRJO, I have a very nice Whitman Volume 1 folder for my Innovation Dollars. All BU, Tennessee on their way.
  2. I don’t know what you were planning on paying for this but I just purchased an 1883 CC Morgan PCGS graded MS63 for just over three hundred. I don’t think I would ever buy a raw CC. Too many counterfeits out there. Be careful.
  3. Thank You RWB, It was only ten bucks and I am reselling as a plain 1942 Mercury dime.
  4. Quintus, some of us think you are a fine pontificator and love your comments.. Keep em coming man!
  5. Yes it was a shot, but I am only out ten bucks and learned about machine doubling on Mercury dimes, so a good lesson. thanks guys
  6. Sometimes, people stretch their expectations a little when submitting to a TPG. I have been disappointed and thrilled so I know both ends of the spectrum. Assuming that they did scratch the coin, as alleged, you still have a $150 coin. did you shoot photos of them before submitting? I always do, what if they are lost in shipment? It happens. I believe you were quite harsh, and somewhat irrational with your reaction. Have you called them? What dialog have you had with them. I’m not stumping for one TPG over another, I have many of both. I don’t think it wise to resubmit the coin because it would surely surpass its value by doing so. could you share pictures of the other coins in your submission? I personally think they were generous, given the scratch was somehow there when it arrived. good luck. Just because this is an NGC forum, it is not favorable on you to knock on one or the other. nuf said
  7. I think it’s a good example to self slab because it’s done very well. Not many would think twice about taking it at a register.
  8. Two Headed Nickel Add to Cart Two Headed Nickel. Both Sides are Heads Two Headed Nickel Not a very good one. $2.95 Add To Wishlist
  9. What is a double headed nickel? This is the only known U.S. regular-issue coin of ANY denomination that was struck with two obverse dies (two-headed). It stands alone as a major U.S. numismatic rarity and proves that a United States two-headed coin exists! There are three known U.S. regular issued coins struck with two reverse dies.Jun 5, 2017
  10. JP I think this is a well known GAG coin. The edge on the 2000 just inside the rim is not right. Just sayin
  11. That’s pretty cool JP I think that is a Top Pocket find! I’m betting I got a nickel that you don’t have.(believe it or not)
  12. I purchased a supposed 1942/42 overdate Mercury Dime. After looking at it under the microscope , I think it actually may be. It sure looks like doubling on the 4 and 2 and 9 TIA
  13. I can visualize EagloRJO rolling one of those raw Corrupted Collector Morgan's over his knuckles. Perish the thought!
  14. Eagle I think this one has a better chance of not being cleaned.
  15. These are the areas that I saw. I could be wrong as i often am. ;-)
  16. 🦅 thanks I am not bidding on it. IF ITS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE IT ISN’T
  17. Agree Eagle, the first coin has been cleaned but has good detail. I have one of these too, but not quite as nice.
  18. If you had a chance to get #1 for under $100 as a raw coin, would you? #2 is a graded example of a 3 legged Buffalo 1937 D
