  1. Please provide cropped pictures of your coin.
  2. Goldfinger , I would grade this one fine and worth at the most $10. however it was nicer than one that I had in a spare secondary set, so it took the others place. Pretty rare to find anything earlier than 1965 in any roll any more.
  3. All were fairly reasonable except the Rockefeller-marsh Billings one. That one is pricey at $70 the others about $30 each.
  4. After two years, it seems funny to me that I never received a single V75 Quarter in change or roll hunting. My solution, create a set of MS64 or greater V75 2020 Privy Mark Quarters. Geez, you would think with ten million of them out there, that not getting oner would seem very improbable. Many do not even know about them.
  5. I have one, a 2021 NGC Top Pop PF 70 "silver Set" I would let go for $45
  6. Sorry I looked at the post earlier and it wouldn't fill in for some reason. No problem
  7. I guess to each his own, however, I don’t get how the “hoard” coins get so much more premium for the same grade. I understand the rarity aspect. I only have one hoard Morgan , a GSA CC.. Just curious Corso what made you begin this particular set? don’t get me wrong, I respect everyone’s tastes and desire for certain sets, I know I do it too. but if you can get a quality coin that has not been hoarded, isn’t that just as good? JMHO. The other thing is truly how is provenance proven other than seeing a label?
  8. I often wondered why effigies faced right or left. explained: This is due to a tradition, dating back to the 17th century, to alternate the way successive monarchs are facing. As the Royal Family says on its website: “From the time of Charles II onwards, a tradition developed of monarchs being represented on the coinage facing in the opposite direction to their immediate predecessor. “The exception to this was in the brief reign of Edward VIII. He liked portraits of himself facing to the left, even though, according to tradition, he should have faced to the right. Designs for proposed coins for his reign show Edward VIII facing to the left.
  9. Great first coin for King Charles III. UK 5 # ,Ordered July 11, 2022, arrived November 13, 2022. Slow. as expected.
  10. Wondering how this might have happened? Coin look like it was buried or something but the concave edge puzzled me. It it were ground on the edge it would be flat or rounded but this one is concave.? Thoughts?
  11. I found the mix of quarters in three rolls to be quite interesting at this date .I would have thought more 2021 and 2022 and less clad through 1999. Might have expected at least 1 silver quarter. Quarters Clad until 1999 - 35 - 29% State Quarters - 33 - 27.5% Mintage 34,797,600,000 National Park Quarters - 33 - 27.5% Mintage 13,194,567,200 4 2020 Salt River Bay 1 Marsh Billings 1 American Samoa 2 Weir Farm Zero V75 2021 WCD Quarters - -10 -8.6% Mintage 1,703,800,000 2022 Quarters - 7 - 5.8% 4 Sally Ride 3 Wilma Mankiller Bicentennial Quarters 2 - 1.6% Mintage 1,600,000,000 Zero Silver quarters
  12. I most certainly agree that the Morgan of the OP has been artificially toned. It is grainy, no sheen, and questionable IMHO. The dime, well many people (including myself) have been fooled into a 42/1. There are machine doubling dimes that look like candidates. I know, I have one.
