  1. Be sure to notify the US mint they should replace it, unless, of course you want to keep it for the novelty. or perhaps you are a proof set violator like VKurtB, who is going to ruin the capsule anyway. Lol 😆
  2. That was one very politically incorrect movie. An equal opportunity offender. I think they offended everybody in that film which has always been a favorite of mine.
  3. That was a good deal, this was a great deal at $11.26. Also from EBay. Not all sales are “shoddy”
  4. I bought the coin on EBay for a real good price. $8.27 That is why I had to whip it out 😝
  5. Thanks JP, I got it. You were right it was one tough bugger. I had to put it in a vise and tap a razor knife on the edge.

  7. I have a 1976 silver Kennedy in an OGP capsule but be damned if I can open it. Have cracked the back trying. Need for an album set.
  8. Just received the 2023 proof set and proof American Women quarter sets. this makes the total of 69 sets.
  9. Sorry It took so long to scope out this two shilling coin. As we discussed it looks as if some cloth pattern became part of the obverse of the coin. Closer view seems to bear this out, however, there is no raised areas. Could it have been struck through cloth or a pice of cloth to cause this effect? The lines almost appear to be pressed into the metal.
  10. In all fairness to TEMU, I have purchased a number of items from them and they do sell many quality products. The coins, although bad copies, do state so in their detailed description and how could anyone ever think for a moment that they might be real at $1.89!
  11. Another fine King George Vi Two Shilling interesting toning stripes across obverse
  12. Thanks guys! I was pretty sure it was bogus when I weighed it , but it is not magnetic. At any rate what do you suppose I could make out of it? a necklace bury it in the neighbors garden encase it in epoxy make a wind chime out of it super glue it to a monument embed it a wood project as an inlay make a hood ornament for my lawn tractor send it to Elon to leave on Mars open to other suggestions 😆
  13. I have an 1895 S Morgan dollar that a friend gave me. I’m wondering about Authenticity. weight 25g 37.7 mm diameter
  14. Sorry, they can make them look extremely real. You see, China has no rules against counterfeiting foreign currency. That’s the only thing you need to know.
  15. Right, a 2023 American Silver Eagle for just $12.98 first clue of a scam, coin doesn’t come in a clamshell case as pictured. I wish it would have. https://www.disanes.shop/collections/HISTORIC-COINS/products/2023-1-oz-american-silver-eagle-coin-while-stocks-last?fbclid=IwAR2iocVz192VcXP6ISpUFzcxw4bLjSTu4_FG2nTPcPj1Moh7Zy7bQFNrAnw_aem_Achraz2WP5UnAyIKuUggF0q4ZpPjaJBW18fvsEbs7D0PMfcP_ZJZxoAddsjsT04mpsAi0s8usvdcCb4JPmWbxXUJMo8jqOiGRZpf7GIm1OT7ZLcb6MvnIKQTxhNsciMS1GM how do they keep getting away with this?
