Nearly instantaneous logout when viewing forums. Even after 1 minute I am forced to login on the same device. Couldn’t we have like 5 minutes of idle time before logout. also lately the server response is much slower than it has been. Sometimes typing lags 3-5 seconds past enter.

Just a slight correction if I may, the two cellophane wrapped separately sets are Philadelphia and Denver MINT sets, not proof sets. They are not proof coins, but uncirculated coins. The last thing appears to be a Silver mint set but I am not aware of these sets in silver. If in fact they are silver proofs they would include silver half, quarter, dime and nickel plus a copper penny. Is there a photo of the coins in the last box? In 1967 and 1966 there were no proof sets made. Only special mint sets as stated above. In 1968 production of proof sets began again with the exhibited 1968 PROOF set.

Are these 1981 proofs Type 1?
Mr.Bill347 replied to Mr.Bill347's topic in Newbie Coin Collecting Questions
Thank you to all that responded. I was reasonably sure that they were all type. 1 variety but as everyone can see, it was not easy to discern. Thanks to the explanation and examples provided I now know. thanks to the great collectors opinions! -

I would get it checked out by an expert in 1787 Spanish shipwreck coins. It does look legitimate to me and same obverse as 1787 King George III (England). Weigh it. See below. My photo states Real Pirate COB 8 REALES 1787/6 FM KEY DATE COIN MEXICO CAROLUS III 26.82g, SEA Salvaged uncleaned. KEY Date Issue in 1787 series. Extremely Rare

Mr.Bill347 replied to RWB's topic in Newbie Coin Collecting Questions
LOL 😆 HE GOT HIS FACE WHIZZED! This guy should be punished by the King for desecrating his grandfathers image by having his teeth cleaned with the exact same method. RWB, sorry you had to endure that. if only he knew you had watched it! but wait RWB, there’s even worse ones out there! -

1921 Morgan Silver Dollar - followup...
Mr.Bill347 replied to HighRadArt's topic in Newbie Coin Collecting Questions
I have found that 1921 Morgan’s P,S are quite available at reasonable prices around $60. I have Not been able to find a 1921 D for anywhere south of $100. You might ask if they are looking for a D mint 1921. -
Would this be a 1899 micro o?

2023 Proof set - Set #69
Mr.Bill347 replied to Mr.Bill347's topic in Newbie Coin Collecting Questions
Well Eagle, Perhaps but those before 1954 are getting pretty rare, but if I see one, Ill probably buy it. I have a great complete collection of Kennedy Halves, but decided to obtain all the S Proofs for the Album. I know, I already have them all in the proof sets, but I am not able to violate those. So 25 or so more , and the two books of all mints, proofs and special issues will also be complete at least through 2023.
